"God!, this is so exhausting, I'm tired," I said while flopping down on couch in my new appartment in Mumbai,technically it's Rohit's not mine.
"Come on,cupcake! We are almost done with everything, just two more box and your new room will be settled," He said in happy tone,
"No,leave it there, Chanda and I will do it latter, it's...." I checked time on my wrist watch,".. 6:25 in the evening, I'm tired and hungry," I huff in annoyance.
I came to Mumbai this morning with Mohitbhai,and Rohit came to pick up at the airport after that three of us came strait to appartment to drop the luggage,while my friend Chanda was already settled to her room, she came here last month after my birthday, she already complete her bachelor degree and started her job four months back, at first she was living with her aunty but now that I'm here we are going to living together in this apartment which is our home for next six months at least. This is apartment is huge for two people, with fully furnished 3 bedrooms, a big living area with balcony at the corner, and kitchen space is quite big with small dining area in it, with all the appliances, it's cozy and welcoming. I just love this place.
"Maya, you and I are going to set up your clothes and other stuff," Chanda said while looking at me and then she turned to Rohit, "and you mister,you are going to set her books, files and other stuff, got it?" She said while pointing finger at him, "Yes, Your highness! Anything else? " Rohit salute with his two fingers.
"Get lost, please" She said in bored tone then turned to me, "come on babe, let's finish this and we'll order your favorite pizza and cupcakes for dinner, " She grab my hand and pulled me up then dragging me towards my new room.

Finally everything is settled and currently I'm waiting for my food with my two friends who are glaring at each other occasionally, just as doorbell rings I rush towards it open thinking that finally yummy food is here, to my surprise it's my dear brother who disappeared after luch saying important business meeting is finally here with my food! Woowww so considerate! , I just take bags from his hands went inside at dinner table.
"Woahhh! No Hi, no Hello, just food? This is not how you greet your guest Miss Maya Rathore," Mohitbhai said with pout, "well hello bro, everything is settled, thanks for asking, I'm sure you already had dinner with your business partners" I said in sarcastic tone,
"Soory betu! I know I should be here with you but when I got call from my office here I couldn't said no to them, and I know you are upset, I'm sorry Maya, " He said while hokding his ears and titling his head to me,"looks I even bought you your favorite food as sorry" He said while winking at Rohit,when I narrow my eyes at him he was suddnly too interested in food,

"It's ok bhai, I know it must be important that is why you left but I would be happy if we could spend some time together before you leave, which is tonight, " I pout looking at me, "come let's have dinner together and then we will talk" I pulled him on to the chair besides me.
After delicious dinner and one movie it's time for my brother leave for airpot, I hugged him tight because I'm gonna miss him most, he is my support system, he hugged me back " Betu! You are joining tomorrow for internship and all the best for that, I know you will do it great, I'm already proud of you" He said with so much I felt like I gonna cry, "take care Maya, " He kissed my forehead and turned to Rohit, "take good care of my sister like always brother," My brother said in tone kind of firm and they both exchange look which I fail to recognised,
What is it that I don't know about Sometimes I feel like I'm stupid enough not to understand
"Always brother," Rohit replied with their bro handshake, then they both left.

I woke up early this morning because it's my first day at work and I don't want to late, I'm very excited for the day but also nervous,
"Maya, did you check everything?" Chanda asked from kitchen, she is making breakfast for us,
Crap,! I almost forgot about my bag
"Ok, I'm checking it now if I forgot about something please remind me, " I yell from my room, "My laptop, resume file, my diary, mobile phone, phone charger, wallet, my chocolate bars, ok everything is set" I take may bag and went to kitchen where breakfast is already set in plates on table,and I was just about to sit on the chair but interrupted by Chanda's voice, "what about your meds Maya, did u take it? " She asked with concern in her voice,
Shit,! How can I forgot it
I rushed back into my room for my Xanax pills which I used whenever I had panic attack and anxiety attack, it helps me to calm my senses, I always kept my pills in my bag since I'm using it almost four years.
"It's your first day so I'll drop you off at your work and then I'll go to my office" She said while eating, shit, car! No way in hell
"Chanda you know I'm not going to office in your car, and I have my new scooter so please don't bother, you just carry on with your day, I'll be good trust me, and plus it's my first day and I don't want to take my pills in case... You know.. " I said softly to her, I don't want her to feel offended,
"But Maya you are not aware about any roads in here how will you get to your office?"
"Relax Chanda! It's only twenty five minutes ride from here, I'll use maps,"
After finishing our breakfast we both head towards our office, Chanda get in her car after wishing me good luck and I start my new scooter, baby blue color, really brother? I'm not teen girl anymore, well it's good looks cute at least.
