Maya is getting ready in dressing room. Pressing a hand to her stomach she rubs it. She bang on dressing table loud with her hand. Her friend Riya comes running to her with trash bin in her hands. She was just in time as Maya threw up the juice she had a while ago.
"Oh god Maya. What happened to you. This is third time you puked." Heer rubs her back. "Are you pregnant?"
"WHAT? MAYA?" Devyani screams. Maya roll her eyes and sat back on chair. Gulping whole glass of water. She sigh.
"I'm not pregnant. I'm just nervous." Maya wipe her mouth with tissue.
"Why? You're already married to him." Rishita says.
"Yeah... Spare me for not remember a thing about my own wedding."
Just as Rohit walks in with medicine. He gave it Maya. "Calm down cupcake. Take it easy. Everything is set. Jhanish is waiting for you desprately."
Maya looks at her best friend, who's looking handsome in his peach color shervani. But his eyes are off. "What happened Rohit?"
"Nothing. Just happy for you. Atleast you got your happily ever after." He hugs Maya.
Maya was thinking about what his friend means but before she could ask he left. She turns to her friends. "What happened to him? What was he saying?"
Rishita and Heer sigh. "His girlfriend Chanda left him. She cheated on him with her boss. They even got married last year." Heer says.
"Yeah. I know how was he. Mohit was so stressed, you were in coma, his friend Rohit was heartbroken. It was mess. But he looks much better now."
Maya turn back and peeks through open door of dressing room. Rohit and Nandini bump into each other as bags fall to the ground from Nandini's hand. He helped her, they talk a little and Rohit left.
Just as Nandini and Kaveri walk inside dressing room. Kaveri's eyes roam over Maya, taking look at her. Her makeup and hair looks flawless. She's in her silk rob, hasn't changed into her lahenga yet.
"Maya, you look pale what happened to you?" Nandini hugged her and asked her with concern. Maya smile at her.
"Nothing, just nervous." She said.
"Maya" Kaveri called her. "Your wedding jewelry. It's our family tradition that bride wears family jewelry from her in-laws."
Maya looks hesitant, she was thinking if she accept this what would her husband thinks. Kaveri noticed her face and sigh. "Don't worry. I already talked with Jhanish. He won't say anything." She passed a box to her.
