One and half year later......

🚩🚩🚩🚩

I rock my head side to side, trying to get rid of the tension in my neck while Mohit and I sit in ME's meeting room and listen to the client, about the benefits of going into partnership with him and his brother.

My jaw clenches, for fuck sake, this meeting is going on and on and on for last what two hours? And this man is getting on my last nerve. I'm not in mood for this shit today. I took cigarette out from my suit pocket and lit it. I got kicked on my leg from under the table, and I glare at the person.

"Bhai, that's the sixth one. Are you trying to get cancer? Do you want to die?" Rishabh hisses, pointing at cigarette in my hand.

Is there a reason for me to live?

Yes, you still need to find the only person who's responsible for all this mess.

My inner voice says.
"What am I doing here Rishabh? You called me for this shit? Didn't I tell you to handle this." I snap at him. Fucking hell. I glance at Mohit who shake his head. I smirk.

"Enough." I say out loud. "Will continue this meeting some other day. Gentlemen, carry on with your day." One by one they left, leaving only me, Rishabh and Mohit.

"Bhai__"

"I've much more important things I need to be doing. I don't have time to waste on this shit Rishabh. Deal with this. Will you?"

"Of course, bhai. I'll handle it."

Mohit sigh. "You look like shit Jhanish. When was the last time you'd sleep well?"

Who the fuck knows? Four days? Five days?

"My whole life has become shit. That's not important, tell me how's construction going? When it will be complete?" I asked.

"Two more months and it will be complete." Mohit stare at me. "Go home Jhanish. You need rest."

"The construction, makes it fast. I want it to be ready by the end of this month."

"Jhanish you know that all our resources are at that site. We are doing our best, this is as important for me as it's to you. Take it easy brother, you are human not a machine." Mohit argues. I sigh.

"Call me if you need anything. I'll see you guys later." With that I walk out of the room.

In the last few months Mohit and I are on good terms. We are not exactly friends but now we atleast doesn't try to kill each other. It's only for the sake of one person.
