The next morning I find Chanda in kitchen making breakfast. She looks over to me and then resume her cooking.
"Morning, how are you feeling?" She ask.
"I heard Rohit was here yesterday""Morning, yes he was here. And I'm good. Thanks for asking"
She puts two plates of Poha in the table and take seat besides me.
"Maya do you know how we are worried. How anxious Rohit was when you didn't come home""It was an accident Chanda. I didn't do it on purpose. And I'm sorry ok."
"Grow up Maya, you are not kid anymore. Be responsible and stop worrying him over you every time"
"What is it Chanda? You are not saying but I can feel that you are holding some grudges over me."
She didn't say anything. " You know I feel like you didn't like me being here. With you or with Rohit"
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"You know what mean. What is going on between you two? Why are you so worked up. Rohit didn't say anything to me yesterday. And here you are getting fussy."
She looked at me offended. " What the hell Maya. You are so mean. I'm trying being nice here and you are talking to me like this. You know what? You are nothing but spoiled kid. Your brother and Rohit favours you everytime that is why you are like this."
"Like what? "
"This. Mean. Troublesome. Impulsive. "
"And you are disliking me suddenly. We've known each other from childhood. You never had problem before with me. What changed now Chanda? I don't understand what is bothering you. My brother favours me that Or Rohit favours me that."
"There is no point talking to you, I'm leaving bye" And then she head out of apartment.
I stare at door she closed while anger starts building in my stomach. I knew she likes Rohit or maybe love him. I'm not sure about Rohit. If there is something between them. He would have told me. I'll talk to him soon.

Thankfully it's bright sunny day today. No rain. I took auto and reched office.
"Maya you owe me an explanation of what happened." Riya whispers on my ear as we are in meeting with our department head.
I sigh and closed my eyes for second.
"We'll talk over lunch break."
