As Hammer and Glass were discussing their uneasy alliance with the man they had been sent to take out, they received a message from Malk.

"Meet us at the abandoned warehouse on 5th and Elm," the message read. "We have some information that you need to hear."

Hammer and Glass made their way to the warehouse, wondering what Malk and Sky had in store for them. As they approached, they saw that the building was in a state of disrepair, with broken windows and graffiti-covered walls.

They entered the warehouse cautiously, their hands on their weapons. Inside, they found Malk and Sky waiting for them.

"Listen carefully," Malk said. "Our employer has been lying to us. The person we were sent to take out is not a rival, but an innocent man who is being targeted for no reason."

Hammer and Glass were stunned. They had been duped. But they knew that they had to act fast to make things right.

"We have to find a way to warn him," Glass said, her voice urgent.

Malk nodded in agreement. "I have a plan," he said. "But it's risky. We'll have to act quickly and quietly."

Sky began to lay out the details of the plan, and Hammer and Glass listened intently. It was a bold move, but they knew that they had no other choice.

As they made their way to the man's house, their nerves were on edge. They didn't know what to expect, but they were ready for whatever lay ahead.

When they arrived, they found that the man was already under attack. His house was surrounded by armed guards, and the sound of gunfire filled the air.

Hammer and Glass exchanged a quick glance, and then sprang into action. They fought their way through the guards, taking them out one by one.

As they reached the man's door, they heard the sound of footsteps behind them. They turned to see Malk and Sky approaching, their weapons drawn.

"Come on, we have to go," Malk said urgently. "We don't have much time."

Together, the Band of Misfits rushed into the man's house, ready to fight for their lives.

As the Band of Misfits fought their way through the man's house, they found themselves facing a heavily armed group of attackers. The sound of gunfire echoed through the halls, and the air was thick with the smell of smoke and burning wood.

Hammer and Glass fought side by side, their weapons blazing as they took down their opponents. Malk and Sky were close behind, providing backup as needed.

The battle raged on for what felt like hours, with no end in sight. But slowly, the Band of Misfits began to gain the upper hand. They took out one attacker after another, until only a handful remained.

With a fierce determination, they pushed forward, determined to finish the fight. But just as they were closing in on their targets, a loud explosion rocked the house.

The Band of Misfits were thrown to the ground, dazed and disoriented. When they looked up, they saw that the room was filled with smoke and debris.

Coughing and gasping for air, they struggled to their feet. They knew that they had to get out of the house before it was too late.

As they made their way through the smoke-filled corridors, they heard the sound of sirens in the distance. They knew that the authorities were on their way, and that they had to act fast.

With Malk leading the way, they sprinted towards the exit. But just as they reached the front door, they were confronted by a group of heavily armed police officers.

For a moment, the Band of Misfits froze, unsure of what to do. But then Sky stepped forward, her hands raised in surrender.

"We surrender," she said, her voice calm and steady. "We're not the enemy."

The police officers hesitated for a moment, and then lowered their weapons. Slowly, they allowed the Band of Misfits to leave the building.

As they emerged onto the street, they were met with a swarm of reporters and onlookers. The news had spread quickly, and everyone wanted to know what had happened.

But the Band of Misfits said nothing. They simply slipped away into the crowd, disappearing into the night. They knew that their work was not yet done, and that they had to stay one step ahead of their enemies.

As they made their way back to their hideout, they knew that they had survived a close call. But they also knew that there was much more to come, and that they would have to be ready for whatever lay ahead.
