Stella gaped, waking up, she was awake. Stella frowned looking around. Her skin felt dry and she looked down. She had multiple scrapes and cuts along her side. She groaned and sat up. Where was she now? She glanced around. there. Story and Dwit were laying down on the ground. Stella hurried over to them.

She felt their pulse. It was strong. Stella let out a breath of relief. They were ok. She gently shook them awake. Dwit started coughing his face full of pain. Stella tried her best to help but he didn't really need it. Stella sighed and went over to Story. She was also ok. Stella glanced around for Trellis. Where was he? She didn't see him near them. But then she saw it.

Stella gasped when she saw the first glass star. It was a person completely made of glass. It was amazing yet horrifying. As Stella continued her search for Trellis she saw that there were more and more glass people. Then she found him. Hunched below another glass star was Trellis. Stella was overjoyed until she saw the star. It was Stark holding a knife and it looked like there had been blood on it. Stella suddenly felt a deep terrifying feeling. She slowly walked over to Trellis fearing the worst. So when Stella shook him she dared to hope. but all that happened was blood got on her hands.

He was dead.

Stella gasped horrified. He was gone. Just like that. She hadn't even been able to talk to him. Stella collapsed in a heap, her face buried in her hands. She wished it wasn't true. but it was... he was really gone.

Stella sat there sobbing before Story and Dwit found her. Their expressions were empathetic and they cried with her. He had been their friend too. Stella felt herself collapsing inside. but there was nothing she could do.

Trellis would not come alive no matter how much she wished.

I woke up.

The first thing I realized when I came to my senses was: I was not dead. My hand shot up to my neck. I felt a scar there. The second thing I saw was: It was very very dark. I looked around and saw Trees. But they weren't glass. I shivered what in the world? I reached up and touched it. Something was wrong. I was outside. It was dark.

That was the last thing I realized. I was not in my world any longer. I felt something tugging inside of me like I was somewhere I was not supposed to be. Then it hit me again. Everyone was gone. Stella, Dwit, Story, and I didn't even know what happened to Whilm. as the tears fell down my face I didn't know what to do. I... I felt broken. After who knows how long, I heard something. I didn't care what it was.

At least not until from the shadows a girl appeared. She looked around sixteen, so a few years younger than me. Her clothing was all black and a sheathed knife was at her side. I sat up from my slouched posture, my face hostile and full of angry tears. I just glared at her.

She on the other hand looked at me with sympathy. I saw pity in her eyes. "What?" I growled. She looked at me distrustfully, then all of the sudden I thought I might have seen disdain in her expression.

"Who are you?" She said, grabbing the knife from the sheath. I reached back to my sword. It was still at my side. I clenched my teeth.

"Where am I now?" I looked around. Then I whispered "Stars, it gets stranger every time." The girl blinked looking at me.

"What do you mean by 'now'?" She was looking at me even more distrustfully. I set my hand on my sword and I saw the slight movement in her posture. She was just about ready to attack.

I growled "Fine. Kill me then." I glared at her "It's not like I want to live after seeing that..." My voice choked up and I lowered my head the tears coming down again. "Just do it." The girl lowered the knife and looked at me.
