Alyssa POV~ 

When i woke up i smelled eggs, so i threw on my robe and went down mateo was cooking eggs, sausage and fruit salad again. " Babe what is with you with fruit and meat?" he turned around and laughed. " How did it go last night?" i laughed oh gosh i was dead when i saw my dad. " I threatened to shave her head, fight her and set her on fire and i tried to make her feel bad" Mateo laughed and put a omelet on my plate with too sausages and a bowl of fruit. " Well your dad invited me to golf " i started laughing but mateo was serious faced. " Wait your really going?" he nodded and smiled. " Why?" he laughed and grabbed my hand. " Because if i want to be in your life forever your dad has to like me so if he wants to play golf we can play" i smiled and walked to the fridge grabbed some milk. " Ew wtf alyssa who drinks milk with eggs" i flicked him off and ate my eggs while he went to change when he came down a few minutes later he looked spiffy. " Omg where did you get that outfit?" he laughed and spinned around. " Max brought it over" i smiled and kissed him when i heard a knock on the door then my dad, max and jessica barged in. " Come on son your on my team" my dad said handing mateo and hat with the company logo on it. " Um if its a guy day why is jessica going?" i said pointing at her and she smiled. " Well sweetie her and patricia love golf" i nodded and they began to leave when i grabbed mateos arm, they all turned around. " Um can i please say bye to my boyfriend?" they all turned around but it still felt awk so i just pecked his lips then they left. My mom came over right after they left. " Get dressed sweetie were going shopping" i smiled and went up and changed. When we went into town we went to this little caribean boutique and both the whole store. After that we went to lunch at our spot we've been going here since i was 7. " Mom whats wrong?" i caught my mom staring at nothing, i could tell something was up. " I asked you out today because we need to talk you may not like what im about to say but you will accept it" i nodded my head and i could feel my palms getting sweaty. " Me and your father are getting a divorce, yes alyssa im fine we've been trying to tell you for a while hunny were not happy anymore i still love him but i cant do this he works to much and its just hard" i couldnt breath, my parents were happy i knew it. " Why?" i asked her blankly and i could feel my tears falling. " Alyssa theres no spark and i wont force myself to fake it if im not happy, dont be mad at your father it was a mutual decision" i didnt know what to said they been together for the longest. " Is it her fault?" my mom sighed and grabbed her hand. " She makes him happy and as long as he's happy im fine" i snatched my hand away from her and she looked upset. " How could you let her ruin this family? How dare you let her on this trip? DO you know how stupid you look while your sleeping he's banging her !" i could tell it was harsh, my mom slapped the table and gave me a evil look. " You will not disrespect me in public, he is happy alyssa accept it and grow up and dont you dare say that again" i stared at her. The rest of the lunch we didnt talk, when i got back to my cabana i cried on the couch for a good 15 minutes till mateo came back and ran up to me and hugged me. " Alyssa im so sorry" i just cried in his arms for the longest that night. After crying with him for about a hour i asked him to make me some food. " Mateo what did my dad say to you?" he looked down. " He said he wanted to talk to you because as much as you hate to hear it alyssa he is happy with jessica" i shook my head and got up. " I warned her not to ruin my family but she already did" i ran out the house and heard mateo chasing after me when i got to her door i bandged on it and when she opened it i slapped her. " You may be with him but your still some home wrecker in my eyes, how could you do this to me?! This is my life, my family you just took away everything that meant the world to me" i started crying and fell to the ground when mateo caught me. " Alyssa you have to understand i love him, im so sorry" she was crying, i stood up and just stared at her. " Please dont. You can have him, but i want you to know what you just did, you just killed me so thank you jessica" i walked away and i heard mateo apologize to her. When we got back to the villa i went up to the room to shower. 

Mateo POV~

After alyssa went up i texted kylie * Her parents broke up. Hes dating some 28 year old model girl. Ky idk what to do this girl is crying mad hard. I cant see her like this.* Kylie texted me back instantly * Just stay with her okay? Hold her, hug her tell her it'll be okay and you love her and she has to talk to her dad trust. Good Luck ill call her tonight i love you guys* I sighed and started cooking some food, i called Alyssa dad over so they could talke. " Where is she?!" her dad walked in our villa mad as hell. " Calm down okay sir shes up taking a shower" he dad stared at me wide eye. " Calm down! She slapped my girlfriend" i glared at him. " Noo disrespect but that girl just lost her parents to some girl who could be her sister so yeah she had a right to hit jessica but you have no right to be mad" he looked at me like he was gonna hit me. " Mateo this is not your problem" i stepped up to him. " Its my problem if the girl i love is crying her eyes out cause her dad is going through a mid life crisis" before he could say something alyssa came down the stairs.

Alyssa POV~

I saw them, my dad looked like he was about to hit mateo and mateo looked like he was gonna hit my dad. I walked up to mateo and hugged him, i stared at my dad. " We can talk but thats it" my dad nodded and he sat on the couch, i grabbed mateos hand and sat across from him. " Alyssa-" i put my hand up to stop him from talking. " No dont apologize because i get it you and mommy arent happy im not mad that your getting a divorce im mad because you brought that girl on my family trip thats like a slap in the face to me and mom" he didnt say anything for a while. " I didnt know how else you could have met her but alyssa you have to believe me i didnt want you to be this mad im so sorry" he tried to grab my hand but i snatched  it away. " You dont get it, I know your happy with her but this trip was supposed to get me away from stress and you bring that home wrecker with you! I will never forgive you for this now leave. Please i need time" my dad nodded and kissed my cheek. " Are you okay?" mateo hugged me. " Yeah i just need food im hungry" babe laughed and got up and handed me a plat with steak on it. " Omg your perf" mateo laughed. " Haha thanks baby" i looked at him and giggled. " Babe i was talking to the steak...." he glared at me and laughed. " You not funny you fucker now eat" i nodded and took a bite it was amaze. After we ate we went up to watch movies. " If your ever wanna leave me just say so okay dont take me on a trip" mateo looked at me and grabbed my waist to bring me close to him. " See the thing is ill never want to leave you were in this for the long shot" i giggled and kissed his nose. " So scary movies or romance?" mateo made a face. " Okay action it is" he smiled and we laid on the bed. " Mateo i love you" he kissed my forehead. " I love you too Alyssa now be silent my baby is on the tv" i hit his abs because everybody new Taylor lautner was my babe. That night was perfect as much as i cried, mateo was here he didnt complain or tell me that bs line that everything happens for a reason he just held me and waited for me to smile again. If that wasnt love than i dont know what is.
