Walking out of the conference room, my secretary Mr Sharma trailing behind me as I bark out orders about the next collaboration Pratap Group Of Hotels is going to have with the travel company.

" Sir you need to approve the draft for the restaurant in our resort in Udaipur and the recreation zone of our Main base hotel ,I think ki agar aap ek baar abhi chal Kar current development rate dekh lete to accha rehata ."

" We will go to the site tomorrow first thing in the morning Mr Sharma and keep the documents that need my signatures on my desk . " I said as we entered my office in our base hotel at Jodhpur and filled my glass with Macallan whiskey .

We currently have several hotels in different parts of India some belong to my group and the rest are in collaboration. I bought the shares of our base branch hotel and in due time I not only have full control of this Group but also expanded our group of hotels all over Rajasthan and parts of India in the last six years, All by myself.

I am standing at the floor-to-ceiling window with a refilled glass of Macallan and watching as the Sun is setting casting an orange glow in my office. I turned around opened my suit jacket loosening my tie and cufflinks, I sat behind my desk and glanced at the paperwork that needed my current attention and among them was the card of an invitation to the quarterly gathering aka party of the brotherhood club in Jaipur for next month and kept it in my laptop bag. Brotherhood Club is an elite club in Rajasthan and only very few businessmen are a part of it. Resuming back to work I started going through the paperwork.

It was nearly midnight by the time I was done most of the office staff had left a few hours ago and now only I see the night shift hotel staff working. I got behind the steering wheel of my G-wagon and drove home.

I opened the gate to my wing which is a little more private than the rest of the Mansion more like a 2 bhk consisting of a small living area with an open kitchen, a bedroom and a small office. I see my Dadisa sitting on the couch with a hunched shoulder and a defeated expression.

eled in front of her. " Ye koi time hai ghar aane ka." She said with a sigh. To which I chuckled.

(Is this the time to come home)

" You are coming to the wedding of your brother tomorrow with us to Udaipur. Right? " And I sternly refused because the last thing I want to do is to attend my half-brother's wedding though the wedding is held in one of my hotels in Udaipur but still. "Please Rudra it's time for you to get married and settled find someone who waits for you at home when you come back from work, someone to share your happiness and sorrows," She said.

We already had this conversation countless times in the last few years. But my grandparents can be quite persistent. I know that she wants to take me to the wedding, make me meet some girl and pesture me to get married to the said girl.

" Accha koi nahi, par saath to chal lo kam se kam," she said with hope in her eyes before I could refuse her politely.
(It's ok, at least you can come to the wedding.)

"Ok I will come to the wedding but that doesn't mean I will come with you all," I said, her face lit up with happiness and joy as if I had promised the world to her. And only once she confirmed it again she returned to her chamber.

I hate to tell Dadisa and Dadosa no for anything because when my mother divorced Dad, left me behind and never looked back because she was in love with someone else. It was my grandparents who took care of me when my father remarried, had Rohan and neglected me as if I didn't matter. A reminder of his ex-wife. And sent me to boarding school from there I went to Australia for further studies.
But I will stick to my plans for marriage which is nowhere shortly.

The Mansion is divided into four chambers. One for me and my grandparents which I further divided for my privacy, one for my father and his family, one for Kakosa and Kakisa and one for the staff.

I entered the shower and stood under the hot running water that relaxed my muscles after a long day of constant work. After reheating some food that was kept on the kitchen counter that Dadisa must have kept for me I sit in silence looking around taking in the place I live in, it feels empty like no one lives here which is true in some way, I am rarely here in the day and only spend the night sometimes I don't even do that. Shoving some food down I retired to bed. Before sleeping I set an alarm so that I can leave early and check the development of the restaurant of the restaurant. A message pops up on my screen I see a video message from Dhruv my cousin at Rohan's bachelor party. In the video, I can see his friends and our cousins and Rohan The Spoiled Brat who is dancing with the girls getting all cozy despite it's his wedding tomorrow. I shake my head in disappointment and feel pity for the girl who will marry him tomorrow.
