I don't know if coming here was a good idea or not. But as I leave the NGO I don't regret coming. This was the most different party I am used to attending. With the kids and the women working in the organization being active participants , it was a really good experience.
Every time I ignored my father it felt like I was acting like a spoiled brat. What if I actually talk to him even if it's a stranger but in the end it will give me more hope. Then , then what , he will try to bring his wife in the equation and I seriously can't stand her and Rohan.
I planned to leave in the morning maybe I will convince Shivanya to come back with Me but seeing how excited she is for tomorrow I am still debating.
" Rudra are you leaving ? " Mumma asks.
" Hmm . I think it's late. " I don't say that Shivanya called saying she want me to come home. Though I didn't expect her to leave me alone. That's not Her. She doesn't act like this.
" If you don't mind can I come with You. " She asks in a polite way. As Shivanya said Dad already left with her and Madhav seems busy and Our grandparents already left early.
" Why would I mind Mumma ? " Her face brighten up every time I call her Mumma. She has a driver or even Madhav but she chose me.
I open the car door for her and let her in. As we leave the gate of the premises Mumma's phone begins to ring. My head turns to her in a reflex action and I see her swipe to pick Madhav's call.
" I already left for home beta. " She says , the affection in her voice toward her son is , I don't know why it is making Me jealous.
" I am going with Rudra. " She says. I can already see Madhav getting angry about why is she with Me.
" Madhav ! " She scolds him. Atleast I am not the only one whom he irritate.
" We can talk about it tomorrow. " She says and hangs up the call without replying to what he said.
" Rudra " She says after a brief silence. " If Madhav ever said you something that he shouldn't have then don't take his words by heart. " She says.
" No, He didn't. " If I think carefully he didn't cross the line Atleast till now and I am definitely not going to act like a child and complain.
" It's hard to believe. " She says with a laugh.
" Don't think that I am making any excuse to justify his behavior but he is protective of everyone in the family and a little more when it comes to Shivi. " She says looking outside the window.
