Chapter VIII: Let's Play

Lucas was walking to school, thinking about Elliot. He always knew he liked her, but... This much? What makes him seem to like her more? Does she like him? He's only 1 year older than her, and can't do this kind of stuff. Not "yet."

He was walking down the path but wanted to avoid Sky Street. That's where the Marsh-Mellows live. He knew if he went in that direction, he would be in a fight with them. So he instead took Frostfall Street. Which, had a destroyed house that was never rebuilt or gotten rid of. It was caused by an explosion. It was Elliot's old home.

Lucas wishes this never happened. This is what caused Elliot to be alone, and homeless. This changed her life, forever. And we don't even know what started the explosion! Elliot's dad, for some reason, was accused of starting the fire. But we had proof of what else could have done it.

Lucas was right beside the building and stopped to look at it. He could imagine it before being burned. Elliot had a beautiful house just like him. But, now it's gone...

Lucas went to walk on the path again. He was walking until, suddenly he stopped... He heard the same voice saying, "The game... Has just begun..."

Lucas looked around. There was nothing. He knew he was hearing something. Or someone.

"Who's there?" Lucas called out. Lucas turned around and saw the body. Everything instantly went black...

"ME!!!"

Lucas woke up. He was on the ground. He got up and looked around. He was in Elliot's old home. But it was rebuilt? And dark... But that's impossible!!! "How!? It's back?!"

Lucas didn't know where to go. He knew the entrance door. He just had to find it in this, darkness. He grabbed his phone and turned on the flash. It didn't show off light in the dark. It started to flicker.

Lucas dropped his phone and freaked out from the flickering. His phone landed and showed the floor light. The floor had blood on it. Lucas picked up the phone and followed the blood trail. It led to a closet. He opened it and could smell blood. Inside was a hall with over a million bloody corpses.

Lucas stood terrified and turned around. The same body was there, but standing. It was a little girl wearing night clothing. She moved her hair from her face and it was just black as a void. An eye appeared in the void.

"Wh-what the h#÷% are you?!" Lucas asked.

"Let's play..." The girl said. Lucas stopped moving. (I know that voice...) Lucas thought.

"Hide and seek... If you lose... You DIE!!!" The girl said in an extremely, deep, demonic voice. The girl faded away.

"3..."

"Wait, What?!" Lucas ran.

"2..." The voice was starting to get deep. And the ceiling was falling apart.

Lucas's heart stopped and sprinted as fast as he could to the door across the hall. But the hall felt like it was going infinitely long.

"1..." The voice said in the most demonic voice. The ground was falling apart.

Lucas ran harder and harder. He saw the door. He ran straight to it. There was screaming going louder and louder. He turned around. The little girl was moving to him closer and closer, in instant speed. Her feet weren't moving. All he was more concerned about was her eye.

He was going so fast that his body and eyes were glowing blue. He was moving crazy fast. The girl started to slow down and was letting him go. He looked back and saw the girl not move anymore. Everything faded white.

6 hours later

Lucas's eyes opened. He stood up and looked around. He was in Elliot's home again. But it was destroyed again. His vision was blind. He was seeing a figure coming to him.
