"Really? All the afternoon classes have been cancelled?" Haruhi asks confused.
"You mean no one told you?" Hikari says as she looks at haruhi, "Kyoya-senpai told me last night. Apparently it's gonna be crazy around here for the next two days. Ouran's holding an exposition of some sort for the Cultural Clubs. Drama and choir clubs from a bunch of other schools have been invited. It's an event the school hosts annually".
"Is that so?" Haruhi says as she takes a bite out of her sandwich.
"What? You've never tried it?!" the twins ask in shock.
"Didn't anyone tell you it's the preferred drink of the host club?" Hikaru asks as he looks at Renge.
"And you are our second manager, so you should drink it too" Kaoru says as he looks at Renge.
"Um well I, uh, I think I've heard of instant coffee before" Renge says as she wipes her forehead with her handkerchief, "oh, that's right! Isn't that when the coffee beans have already been ground for you?".
"That's just ground coffee" Hikaru says as he puts his arms across his chest in an X, "instant is something completely different. I don't even think there are any coffee beans in instant coffee. You just mix this power with hot water and drink it. You don't even have to brew it. It's pretty awesome".
"So it's basically just like coffee but not as robust" Kaoru says as he sits on one of the tables, "and yet it's strangely satisfying. Now that you mention it, we just ran out of it, didn't we?".
"Got buy us some more, Hakari" the twins say as they come up behind Hakari.
"Why do I have to go get it?" Hikari asks annoyed.
"Because your sister got it last time now it's your turn this time. And how would even know where to start looking for commoners coffee?" Hikaru says as he puts his hands on her shoulder.
"Here's an idea. Come with me so next time you two can go get it. Or ask Kyoya-senpai, he knows" Hikari says as she rolls her eyes.
"We've even been serving it to our guests lately" Kaoru says as he ruffles her hair, "and besides, you're our manager so it's part of your job".
"But the cultural club exposition starts soon" Hikari says as she sulks.
"Yeah but it's not mandatory, so if you're not interested, you don't have to go" Hikaru says as he grabs Hikari's legs.
"And with that being said" Kaoru says as he and Hikaru pick Hikari up, walking her to the door.
"Be careful out there!" the twins say as they put her down in front of the door.
"I really hate rich people" Hikari says quietly to herself as she walks out of the room.
"Thanks for helping them out, Hikari" a girl with light brown hair says as she walks out of the room.
"No problem. I just wish they'd buy their own instant coffee" Hikari says, about to give up on life.
"Well I don't know if that'll ever happen but they seem to be having a good time" the girl's friend says as she comes out of the room as well, "and it's all thanks to you and Haruhi".
"We've been in the same class as the twins since middle school" the girl with light brown hair says as she looks at her friend, "they didn't used to be this cheerful and friendly. They were always quiet and withdrawn. They didn't have many friends. It's like they didn't want anyone to get too close. I don't think they liked school very much. They seemed so bored by it. I guess things started to change when the host club was created. Since then, they've come out of their shells, little by little. But they've really opened up since Haruhi joined the host club and you became its manager. Now they talk and joke with everyone in class. That's why we wanted you to know how grateful we are to you. We're always with Haruhi, but we never really get to say thanks to you. Because of you, the twins are having fun and even Kyoya-senpai smiles more".
