16- The Host Club Declares Dissolution!

so again, due to not knowing how to fit Hikari's character into the episodes, there will be a large number of episode skips. therefore, this chapter will be the second to last chapter of ouran.

--- the morning before the annual Ouran Academy fair ---

"Oh, and those go in the school's main salon, okay?" Kaoru says as he helps the moving people hired for the fair move the furniture into the school from the storage on campus.

"Alright!" one of the movers says with a bright smile.

"Hey, be careful with that" Kaoru says as he looks at a group of people goofing off by throwing a precious vase around in between them.

"Uh, aren't festivals, you know, supposed to be about students showing off different things that they uniquely made by hand. Like, look! I made these bracelets that people can buy and everything!" Hikari says as she opens a bag full of handmade bracelets.

"Perhaps for a mere average school, yes" Kyoya says as he looks into the bag, "but at Ouran, the emphasis is on planning and leadership skills. Keep in mind, most of our students are being groomed into positions of leadership, so they're supposed to be showing off their leadership skills. But these bracelets are cute and I'm sure the students will love them".

"Oh" Hikari says as she looks at Kyoya.

"Whoa! Whoa!" Hikaru says as he, Mori and Honey come over in a horse drawn carriage.

"Nicely done. You handle the reigns like a pro" Mori says as he looks at Hikaru.

"Kari-chan!" Honey shouts from the carriage as he waves at Hikari.

"Climb onboard!" Tamaki says as he holds out his hand to Hikari, "we're rehearsing for the big Ouran Festival parade!".

"Isn't this a little too much?" Haruhi asks as she walks over.

"Oh, wow! This is straight out of a fairy tale!" a girl says as she and some of her friends run over.

"How romantic!" two girls say happily.

"Can we have a ride, too?" another girl asks as she comes over.

Hikari and Haruhi look at each other and shrug as they get on the carriage. Hikari holds her hand out to Kyoya who jumps onto the carriage. Hikaru sets off as they are pulled through the crowds of students, everyone looking at them.

"Hey, you know, you've gotten pretty good at this" Kaoru says as he looks at Hikaru.

"There's nothing to it. You should have practiced with me earlier" Hikaru says as he looks back at Kaoru.

"Well, just because we're twins, it doesn't make us both good drivers" Kaoru says with a small smile.

"It's kind of neat having us all together for a carriage ride, huh?" Honey says with a bright smile.

"Yeah, whatever" Hikari says as she rolls her eyes.

"Oh, and for the parade tomorrow, we'll all be dressing up in 18th century French costumes" Tamaki says happily, "yours and Hikari's outfits will be especially beautiful, Haruhi".

"Oh, wonderful" Haruhi says sarcastically.

"Ah. The festival's opening ceremony has started" Tamaki says as the bell from the clocktower starts to chime, "let's make this school festival the best one yet".

"Sounds good to me" Hikari says happily.

The club make it to the central building as they get inside. They get changed into their attire and gather for a quick chat.
