When I open my eyes I was on a bed, it wasn't comfortable as the one on my room but I slept fine. I vaguely remember sleeping in the chair on the deck. Who brought me here?

I sat up and removed the blanket off of me, I stretched and stood up. Only now could I hear the voices outside, I walked outside and my eyes widen when I took in the view. The sky was covered with black clouds which were ready to pour. A storm was on its way. The ship was swaying due to the harsh waves. I held the wall as I stepped outside.

I saw Ares standing behind the wheel as he was steering the ship. He was bellowing orders as he was trying to control the ship. His sleeves were rolled up and by the way his veins were bulging I could tell it's taking a lot of energy from him to steer the wheel.

I walked towards him but his eyes were ahead, once in a while he would bark some order at someone.

"Princess Leonora, you should be inside. It's not safe outside!" Thomas said when he saw me. Ares looked in my direction when he heard me name he frowned when he saw me. He looked at my feet and I realized I was bare footed.

"Go inside!" He ordered me, I was this close to yell at him but only rolled my eyes at him.

"No!" I said as I crossed my arms. He gave me a hard look and then looked at Thomas.

"Go bring her shoes and a warm cloak for her!" He ordered and Thomas immediately walked away. I stepped beside him and looked ahead in the sea. The sight was frightening but for some reason I wasn't scared... maybe it's because I know Ares won't let anything bad happen.

"You shouldn't be here!" He gritted lightly but he looked tense as his whole focus was ahead.

"I don't want to go inside,!" This time I spoke softly and this seemed to silence him.

"Commander!" Thomas came and was about to give my things to him instead of me so I grabbed the cloak from his and covered myself, the next were the shoes. I held it from his hand but Thomas pulled back and put my shoes down near my feet. I frowned a little at him.

"Princess!" He said as he looked at me. I shake my head and wore my shoes. Ares was looking at my feet and glaring at Thomas who was still kneeled down before me. He immediately stood and ran away.

Ares looked ahead with a sigh, his face marred in a frown. I felt a drop of water on my cheek and shortly after it's started raining. I was about to turn around and go inside but I saw so many men working in the rain. Ares was drenched in water by now and I know he is unhappy with my presence here. My cloak was also wet but somehow my dress was still dry.

"Ares..!" I called his name and his eyes immediately met mine and I realize this is the first time I am saying his name after years. A flash of emotions passed through his eyes but he hid them as soon as they came.

"Go inside, please!" He gritted but I can see his eyes pleading me. With a small huff I turn around and went inside his cabin.

Few minutes later Agatha came in my room with the food. I didn't want to eat but she pleaded so I ended up eating a little bit. It was late at night when rain stopped and the men's relaxed. Ares was able to save the ship and protect all of us. I felt a little thankful for him bit I won't show it.

A knock sounded on the door.

"Come in!" I said and I saw him walking inside.

"I need to change!" He cleared as he motion to the small bag which was probably his. Ofcourse it's his cabin before I came and made it mine. I nodded and watched him move to his bag as he fished out his clothes.

I stood up to leave to give him some privacy, it's his cabin and I know he won't tell me to leave but still I felt a little awkward taking his cabin.

"Where are you going?" He asked me.

"To my room!" I said.

"Stay here, I will take another room!" He said but I immediately shook my head.

"No it's alright, I am fine now. I am not feeling sick anymore!" I told him.

"No Stay!" He said and walked in the bathroom. With a heavy sigh I walked out of the room but didn't go down but went towards the railing.

I looked up and saw stars shining in the sky, a smile came on my face as I saw the clear sky with clusters of stars. No one can tell that it was raining a little while ago. I breathed in the cool breeze, the air was humid.

"You are here!"He said lightly as he came behind me. I didn't spun around, he lean beside me on the railing.

"Isn't it beautiful?" I said looking at the sky with a wide smile. For a moment he stayed quite but then he spoke

"Hm, beautiful indeed!" He said in husky voice and when I look at him he was looking at me but immediately looked at the sky.

"Aren't you going to eat?" I asked as I watch few men sitting on the lower deck singing and eating.

"I will,!" He said but didn't move to leave. I looked back and saw Molly sitting with Tomas at far corner, she was blushing like a little girl as Thomas was telling her something. I rolled my eyes at the sight of two lovers. I don't understand the concept of love, I don't belive in love maybe because I haven't fallen in love yet.

"How can people fall in love at only first sight?" I scoffed and looked ahead.

"You won't understand!" He said with a small smile. I turned towards him with a frown.

"Then enlighten me!" I scoffed.

"You will not like what I will say!" He said and this intrigued me more.

"I didn't know you are afraid of me!" I quirked my brow. He smirked a little.

"I am not afraid of you... I am afraid of what you will do!" He said.

"One look is enough to fall in love with someone but it isn't necessary that it would be the first one!" He said deeply and for a moment I couldn't understand.

"That's ... rubbish!" I huffed but he only smiled back.

"I told you, you won't understand!" He shrugged.

"It's because you make no sense. I am sure you also don't know what you are saying. Love is a useless emotion, I don't think it's something that people should be running behind. It only makes them weak and useless. Just look at them they look like a fool staring in each other's eyes as if everything else vanished.." I hissed.

"But it made me stronger!" He said and looked deeply in my eyes.

"Your love will be unrequited!" I challenged as I looked in his deep eyes.

"I belive in my love!" He said staring back in my eyes.

"You are running after something that you won't achieve!" I said.

"Then it was never mine to begin with!" He said.

"You know what! I am going to take some rest!" I narrowed my eyes at him as I turn around and walked inside his cabin.
