Final chapter

It had been a month since everything happened between Tessa and I, the long weekend had come and gone and I spent a night cuddling and having a few drinks with Nori. She kept to her word and was nice to be around now as I wasn't constantly being hit on by her, Cyn had basically twisted Uzis arm into letting her date me as well. What had started as just Lizzy quickly spun way out of control and I had put my foot down and quickly realized Cyn was more malicious then she portrayed. I had to come up with a plan to get rid of her, she was only nice to me and still threatened everyone else the only problem was every plan I came up with revolved around Tessa completely locking Cyn down as her code had been erased from everyone she couldn't reinfect anyone. I really didn't want to talk to Tessa after our last conversation made us rather distant from each other but I had to do something Cyn was vastly out of control and the only thing stopping her from outright killing some people was me not letting her leave the apartment without me being with her. She even attacked N and all he did was hit my shoulder and said hi, so I made my way to Tessa's place and knocked on the door J answered it "Oh hey Y/n, what brings you here?" She asked "I need Tessa's help, Cyn needs to go she's too dangerous" I say "Oh, yeah she's not kind to anyone but you" she says "So is Tessa here?" I asked "Yeah, she's in her room" she says letting me in, I got to Tessa's room and knocked on her door "It's open!" She shouted from inside. I opened it and upon seeing me she got embarrassed again "Hey Y/n..... come to get your upgrades?" She asked "Not necessarily, but we can talk while you install them" I say "Okay" she says slowly getting up. I sat down and held my arms out so she could get the things installed, once she sat down and got to work in silence only to stop and speak up "Can I explain myself?" She asked "Yes? You may have made things uncomfortable between us but your still my sister. And I know you don't actually want to sleep with me" I say "I know and your still my brother but with your new body my mind doesn't recognize you as you" she says "You mean you don't see me as me?" I ask "No? Yes your my brother and you always will be, but I forget that your a drone now and still remember you as a human" she says "So it's disconnect then? You still see your brother as a human and not a drone" I say looking down "I know it sounds bad! But yes I still remember my brother as human not this new you!" She says "I see..." I say upset "Y/n your my brother and I still see you as such, my mind might not remember you as a drone but it's only because I remember all the fond memories from us as kids" she says "Just finish the upgrades.... And I need your help getting rid of Cyn, she's too unstable to be kept alive" I say "Okay, what's the plan....?" She asked knowing I just wanted to drop the previous conversation. "I'll get her here for a service check and you can lock her down in a device. We'll smash it killing her once and for all" I say "It should work with her not being in any other drones" she says as she finished up on my arms. I got up but she grabbed my hand "I know I've made you upset I'm sorry, I just want you to understand" she says "Yeah... sure... I get it" I say pulling my hand away but she wouldn't let me leave "Y/n please don't be upset, you are my brother and I see you as such, I just need to make fond memories with the new you!" She says "Just let me go Tessa, the ships already sinking." I say, she yanked me into her wrapping her arms around me "Your not going anywheres until your happy again" she says "We can work on that once we've dealt with Cyn" I say "Y/n" she says "I'll be fine, I just want to protect everyone" I say as she let me go "Once we've dealt with her you and I are spending time together" she says "Fine, I'll go get her" I say leaving.

As I made my way back to my place to get Cyn I ran into Nori who was walking hand in hand with D "Hey Nori, D" I say "Oh hey Y/n! How are you doing?" She asked "Been better, you two seem happy" I say "Yeah we've gotten together!" D says "Well I'm happy for both of you" I say "Well we'll see you around" she says as they walk away. I got to my place and got inside "Hey Cyn! Where are you?" I shouted. When I didn't get a response I looked around but couldn't find her. "Shit not good!" I say running out of my apartment. I put out a call to keep an eye out for Cyn as she was out and about, it didn't take long for me to get a response as to where she was, she was at the mall. I made my way there and found her looking at cleaning supplies "Cyn what are you doing here!?" I asked "I needed supplies to clean, we ran out" she says "Oh alright, let me know next time okay? Also we need to go visit Tessa and get you a service check up" I say "Why? I feel fine" she says "Well your body is smaller then most drones so we want to get a record of it while it's fine so we know in case anything does happen we can spot it sooner" I say "Oh that's a good idea actually" she says. We left the mall and got back to Tessa's place "Hello Cyn, ready for your check up?" Tessa asked "Yes, hurt me at all and I'll gut you" she says "Alright... take a seat and I'll get to work" she says. I sat down next to Cyn and grabbed her hand playing along with her being nervous about Tessa poking around in her head. Once Tessa plugged in she shut Cyn's body down instantly and pulled Cyn out and back into the little devise from before it had been left turned on "Huh? Where am I?" Cyn asked "Your grave" I say picking up the little devise "Hmm I figured you'd kill me, so I got one last laugh in. Enjoy the surprise" she says "What do you mean!?" I asked "You'll find out!" She says "What have you done!" I say "Y/n we have an emergency at 254 east wing!" Khan calls over the radio. My heart dropped "That's Lizzy's place..." I say realizing what she'd done. I crushed Cyn in my hand and took off to the call, upon arriving I saw Lizzy crying as she was missing and arm and her face was cut up badly. I got over to her and knelt down "Lizzy what happened!?" I asked "That girl your with... yellow eyes" she says "Not with, not anymore. She's dead" I say "Your going to kill her?" Lizzy asked "No she's already dead" I say "let's get you to the doctors" I say picking her up.

On the way to the doctors Lizzy decided to speak up "Guess this means I'm not jerking you off anytime soon" she says "Alright making light of the situation?" I asked surprised "Well I can't really change it can I?" She asked "Yeah? Did you forget my sister builds and repairs drones? She can get you your arm back" I say "Oh, great! So how long then?" She asked "probably soon, I'll just go fetch an arm and bring it back for her to attach." I say "Also can I talk to you about something?" She asked "Sure? What's going on?" I asked as we arrived at the doctors "It's about our relationship, I'm getting feelings for someone else...." She says "Okay? Lizzy it's an open relationship. If you want to date others you can, I'm not about to double standard you" I say setting her down so the doctor can fix her up. "Well I'm not so much a open relationship girl... I dated you because I wanted you but now that I'm getting feelings for someone else it feels wrong to be with more then one person..." she says "So go after them then, I'm not going anywheres so if it doesn't work out you can always come back" I say as the doctor came in "You okay from here Lizzy?" I asked "Yeah, I can manage. Thanks for everything Y/n" she says as I get up. I left the doctors office and made my way to my place but was stopped by Tessa "Y/n, can we hang out?" She asked "What do you want to do?" I asked "Whatever your up for!" She says "That doesn't help at all" I say "How about.... You take me out flying? I've never gotten to before and your the only person who can probably lift me" she suggested "Fine. Come on" I say. "And dress warmly, the air is cooler higher up" I tag on.We made our way outside in awkward silence and once we arrived Tessa latched onto me in a hug "I'm sorry for what I said, I didn't mean to upset you. Your my brother and you always will be. I think I've figured out how to word it better." She says "Go on" I say "When ever I think of you I remember all the pleasant moments from our childhood, all the nights you sang me to sleep or we danced our nights away. That's how I remember you, your a very different person yet still the exact same. You've gone from just protecting me to protecting an entire community, you've become a loving boyfriend to Uzi and are able to recognize your mistakes. You'd never admit to them as a kid" she says, I sighed as it did sound better then her last statement, I put my arms around her and kissed her forehead "That sounds better." I say tightening my grip on her "Y/n, you don't have to squeeze so tight!" She says before I spread my wings and launched us airborne. "Y/N!!" She screams tightening her grip on me. I held her tightly so she wouldn't drop and once we were high enough I tossed her upwards and caught her on my back "Your an asshole!!" She shouts wrapping her arms around my neck "Love you too Tess" I say smiling. Once she calmed down and I began gliding around she loved it "This is awesome.... But don't take me any higher, I've discovered I hate heights!" She says her grip tightening on me. I decided to have a little fun with that and climbed higher and higher "I HATE YOU!!" She shouts as we hit the clouds. Once we were above then she looked around "Woah..... you'd never get a view like this back on earth...." She says seeing the stars and planets "Still hate me for bringing you so high?" I asked "Yep!" She says making me laugh "Admit it you live this view!" I say "It is amazing but the lack of visible ground is concerning" she says. "Well I'll change that then!" I say "Don't you dare!" She says. I dipped to one side making Tessa slip off of my back only for me to catch her in my arms again "ASSHOLE!!" She says clinging to me "Hey I'm just getting you to the safe position!" I say closing my wings making us plummet to the ground. Tessa screams the entire way down before I open my wings and glide us all the way back to the colony. Once we landed and got inside she had to go and make Milly lunch so I went to Uzi's place seeing as school was out and I want to spend some time with my only girlfriend as everyone else had either gotten with someone else or in Cyn's case dead.

I arrived at Uzi's place and knocked on the door, she was the one to answer "Hey Y/n!" She says letting me in "Hey Uzi, so I got some news for you, it's just me and you again!" I say as we got into her room "What do you mean?" She asked "Well Lizzy is after someone else now, your mom is dating D, and Cyn's dead" I say as we sat down on her bed "Huh?" She says confused "Yep, it's just you and I in this relationship again, and if I'm being honest I'd like to keep it that way. Everything got way out of control and started causing problems" I say, she crawled up next to me and snuggled up to me "I like the sounds of that" she says as I put my arm around her "So what are we going to do now?" I asked "Binge a show?" She asked "Mmm I have other ideas~" I coo making her blush "At least none of your toys are here..." she says, I waved my hand and made some appear and other toys we didn't have before "You were saying?" I say as her face lit up with embarrassment. I waved them all away laughing "Your so cute when you blush!" I say pulling her into a hug and flopping back laying down with her "Heh.... So your not going to use me?" She asked "Not today, I'll wait till you get mad at me then I'll screw your bolts loose" I say "Of course..." she says resting her head on my chest. "Don't worry cupcake, I'll make sure your safe" I say "I know you will, and I couldn't ask for anything more" she says "And I couldn't ask for a better girlfriend" I say as we were both at peace again.
