Chapter 12

It was the day Uzi and I were headed to camp for our little date together which was turned into a field trip for the entire class much to our disappointment, Nori and Yeva were coming along to serve as camp counselors as was N and V, again much to our dismay as Uzi and V had been fighting lately over Uzi's use of her powers. Doll had taught Yeva and Nori to use there powers from the solver as they both possessed it, after awhile they joined the WDF and more specifically formed a squad with me as a special unit, we worked closely with N as he had more experience with fighting and was a natural negotiator. But for now I was packing a few things I wanted to bring along as this was an overnight trip. I had already made plans with N to bring some fun activities for the others to do, and he helped me find the equipment to do it. With everything set I grabbed my bag and left for the bus where Uzi was waiting chatting with Doll and Lizzy, the three were rather close now with Lizzy being a lot friendlier to Uzi after they hung out a few times with Doll and I when we went out dancing. I got over to the trio setting my rather heavy bag down as I brought a few different firearms to give the class a chance to use. "Geez Y/n, got a big enough bag?" Lizzy asked "What? I got some surprises for everyone once we get there" I say stretching my back "Oh like what?" Doll asked "If I told you it wouldn't be a surprise" I say noticing Uzi's bag "Awww it has little wings!" I say as she scowled at me "It's not cute! It's suppose to be scary and cool!" She says crossing her arms "No Uzi it's cute, what I got is scary and cool" I say as she rolled her eyes. "Everyone get on!" We hear the bus driver shout sitting on top. As I got on I noticed Nori and Yeva dressed up in councilors uniforms and I had to admit they looked good. As we sat down in our seats I felt as if someone was watching me, but as I looked around I couldn't see anyone staring at me which made me a little uneasy, I shook the thought once Uzi laid her head on me "Getting comfortable for the ride?" I asked putting my arm around her, "Yep!" She says snuggled up to me, I smiled and looked out the window as the bud took off.

We arrived at the camp and got off to stretch our legs "Alright campers, who's ready to have some fun!" Nori asked with some enthusiasm, there wasn't much excitement from just about anyone, until V and N arrived landing causing a cloud of snow to rise. The girls ogled over N who had also dressed up as did V, I tuned out as they listed off the rules everyone had to follow as I felt I was being watched again, looking around I didn't see anyone which was now setting alarms off in my head something was wrong, once they dismissed everyone I pulled Doll and Uzi over to speak with there mothers, "Hey somethings going on" I say looking around "What do you mean? And why are you looking around?" Nori asked "I feel like I'm being watched, it's happened twice now. Once while I was on the bust just before we left and again just now." I say "If I've learned anything over my years, it's to trust your gut your probability being watched" Yeva says "I'm thinking that to, so everyone be on high alert. You two included" I say looking at Doll and Uzi "Don't drag out little girls into this!" Nori says "They have powers to and can protect others if they have to as well. Don't seek out danger but if it finds you fight" I say as they nod "Well what do we do?" Uzi asked "Canoeing!" I hear shout from the frozen lake, "God he's an idiot sometimes" I say "Guess it's as good a start as any" Doll says, we walked down to the lake as everyone either walked around slipping on the ice or sat in a boat "paddling" through the ice, I watched on in amusement sitting down putting ice skates on, I watched as Uzi and Doll tried walking on the ice only to slip and fall, I laughed at there dismay seeing them struggle to stand back up, Nori and Yeva walked over "Let's see you do any better!" Nori says "Okay!" I say getting up they noticed my height change and looked down at my feet "What are those?" Yeva asked "Ice skates, watch this" I say jumping on to the ice taking off across the lake, everyone watched on as I zipped around the ice with ease. I made my way back over stopping at the edge of the lake "So, wanna try?" I asked as they nodded "Y/n... we had that set for tomorrow" N say's disappointed I changed there plans "Sorry N but hockey and skating in general is among my favorite things, you put a frozen lake and skates in front of me I'll be out here for hours" I say "Hockey?" Thad asked "Sport I like" I say grabbing a stick I brought with me "Guess I'll get the other skates and equipment" N says shaking his head. V only glared at Uzi before walking away with N "She's still mad at you over your powers?" Doll asked "Yeah, says I shouldn't use them as much as I do" Uzi says "Yet I use them even more then you and she doesn't say a word" I say grabbing a puck tossing it on the ice "Probably because your way stronger then she is and she knows it, she might still think she can beat Uzi" Yeva says "She'd better not try to" Nori says "If she does, I'll eat her alive" I say "Uhh you good Y/n?" Thad asked "Right they don't know what I am!" I thought "Yeah fine" I say as N got back with his bag of equipment "Everyone come get your skates" he says still frustrated I changed his plans, I pulled him aside to talk about it "Come on bud let loose a little, the point of being here is to get away from all the planning and stuff, have some fun and do whatever feels fun" I say "But I worked hard to plan everything!" He says "I know you did and one little thing getting changed isn't the end of the world, there's still a list of things you have planned and we can follow it, I just wanted to enjoy something I haven't gotten to do in years, plus they will help get everyone moving and there legs stretched so the rest of the day goes by smoothly" I say "I guess your right" he says "Come on, I'll teach you how to skate" I say bumping his shoulder.
