February 2012, Bay of Biscay.

The Russian Carrier Admiral Kuznetsov balled her fists in anger.

"I'll be a laughingstock for this."

Kuznetsov thought dreadfully as she knew civilian and God forbid military ship-girls would start to question why she was just sitting there. She had lost propulsion while sailing home and had to anchor in the bay for safety.

Kuz heard someone sail up behind her as she turned to see a civilian girl standing there. She wasn't anything special, she actually looked like a very plain looking Russian ship-girl.

"Who are you? And what are you doing here?" Kuznetsov's tone commanded as the girl looked at the powerful carrier with a bored look.

"I'm here to help, I-." The ship began to explain when she was rudely cut off.

"About time they sent a mechanic, I need you to get to work immediately." Kuznetsov began to order as the girl just stood in place with the same bored look.

"Look comrade, I'm not a mechanic. I'm an ice-breaker, my name is Nikolay Chiker." The brown-haired girl said with an annoyed tone.

"Why would they send a...?" Then it dawned on Kuznetsov as this was worse than just losing propulsion.

"I-I'm being towed?" The carrier's voice cracked for a second as the icebreaker nodded.

"No, they need to send someone else! I will not be dragged into port like an old fishing net!" Kuznetsov found her fiery resolve as the young girl cleared her throat.

"Listen flat-top, you're going to take my hand and ask me politely to take you back to Severomorsk." Kuz raised her eyebrows in surprise; she couldn't believe the attitude of the Icebreaker!

"Or what?" Nikolay suddenly smiled at the carrier's reply.

"I'll drag you all the way back to H.Q. kicking and screaming, then I will drink the vodka I earned with my friends and tell everyone how pathetic you were and how I bravely had to save you." Kuznetsov's face paled at the icebreaker's words as her anger melted away.

"Something like that would ruin me!"

"You wouldn't dare, I'm part of the Russian navy!" Kuznetsov barked as Niko rolled her brown eyes.

"Try me." She shrugged.

"You little-?!" The carrier reached out angrily to grab the young girl when the icebreaker quickly snatched Kuz's wrist and squeezed.

"Agh!" Kuznetsov spat as the mighty carrier was slowly forced to her knees.

"дурак, your engines and main power are offline. You are about as dangerous as a sleeping baby." Nikolay's words struck Kuznetsov like a hammer and cut like a sickle.

Nikolay flicked the carrier back, causing Kuz to become off-balance. The carrier only prayed no one was watching and looked down shamefully at the water.

"Do not look at this as a failure comrade, but as a chance to improve for next time." Kuznetsov's eyes widened as an open hand came into view.

Kuznetsov slowly straightened her appearance knowingly.

"Thank you comrade for coming to my assistance, please forgive my poor manners." Kuznetsov looked down at the girl's hand as her hard demeanor softened. "Will you please take me home to Severomorsk, comrade Nikolay Chiker?"

"Sure, and my friends call me Niko." The ice-breaker took the carrier's and slowly led her home to mother Russia.
