chapter 11

Jennas POV-

"Aliyah can you bring me somewhere tomorrow." I say.

She turns around and looks at me.

"What no the last time I brought you somewhere mom and dad acted like they were going to kill me because you were supposed to be in bed resting because you got shot like an idiot." she says with a smile and then turns back around to finish her makeup.

I throw a pillow at her.

"Ow you fucker I almost got mascara in my eye." she says.

"The doctors you idiot I have a check up tomorrow and mom and dad are going out of town. And as you can see I cannot drive myself yet." I say.

"Why don't you just ask your girlfriend to bring you?" She says.

"She's not my girlfriend." I say rolling my eyes.

"yet." aliyah smirks.

The next day

"Alright it looks like you're almost fully healed. Keep putting this lotion and ointment on it so it helps with the scarring and try to walk more so you can get used to the feeling again. We're gonna give you crutches and use those for about 2 weeks and you should be fine. Any questions?" The Doctor says.

"How long until she can drive again because she is up my ass." Aliyah says.

I hit her in her arm.

"Ow what i'm just curious." She says.

The doctor laughs.

"She should be fine to drive after those 2 weeks." he says.

"Okay thank god." aliyah says.

We leave the doctors.

2 Weeks later.

"wow look who's walking again." A voice behind me says.

"Hey." I say laughing.

Tate walks up to me and hugs me.

"Your dad let me in. How are you feeling." Tate says.

"A lot better. What are you doing today?" I say.

"We are going to go get lunch and have a fun day." Tate says grabbing my hand.

"is this a date?" I say smiling at her.

"Jenna Marie Ortega would you like to go on a date with me this fine afternoon?" She says getting closer to me.

I lean in and kiss her softly.

"I'd love to." I say smiling.

"good because we are going right now." She says picking me up bride style.

I laugh as she runs out and puts me in the car.

I love how happy she makes me, I've never felt this way before.

The whole drive there we talked and laughed.

When we got there she got out and opened the door for me.

"Thank you." I say.

She smiles and grabs my hand.

"Hi what can I get you guys for drinks today." A woman says.

"French vanilla cappuccino." I say.

The woman nods and writes it down. When she looks at Tate her eyes widen.

"Tate?" She says.

"Mia." She says.

Tates POV-

How the fuck did I manage to pick a cafe that my ex girlfriend works at? Fuck me dude.

"Is everything okay." Jenna says raising an eyebrow at me.

"Yeah. Can i just get orange juice?" I say staring at mia with a straight face.

She nods and walks away.

"Talk about it now or later?" Jenna says.

"Later. I want to enjoy this day with you." I say.

And so we did. We ate, laughed, and had an amazing time.

"Hi could we get the bill." I say.

Mia nods and comes back with it.

As I was giving the bill back she put her hand on mine and I just looked at her. Her smile faded away but then she started smiling again.

I put my card in and give it back to her.

"Babe no let's split the bill. You always pay for us." Jenna says.

Babe?

"No babe i've got it. I asked you on this date so I will be paying. I would never make my girl pay. You can repay me later at home." I say winking at her.

She smiled at me and held my hand.

We both looked up at Mia smiling and she rolled her eyes walking away.

"Can we go get ice cream after this." Jenna says.

"Yeah sure thing babe." I say smiling.

She laughs and hits my hand.

Mia comes back with my card.

"Text me." She whispers as she walks away.

"She won't." Jenna yells loud enough for her to hear.

Mia walks back.

"We'll see about that Jenna. Don't worry I know who you are, you're the biggest slut in the game. Be careful Tate she might cheat on you." She says.

"What like you cheated on me? You have no room to talk about who's cheating when the biggest slut in this room is you. Don't ever talk to whats mine like that again or I swear I will hurt you and you know i'm not kidding. Lets go jen." I say.

I get up and put my hand out for Jenna to grab, she does. I put her in front of me and walk with my hands touching her waist.

I open the car door for her and then get in on my side and start driving.

I took my phone out and searched for an ice cream shop near us and then drove to it.

"You didn't have to drive here if you didn't want to after that, you know." Jenna says.

"You asked for ice cream we are getting it. I'm not gonna let what happen ruin our day." I say.

I cup her face and give her a kiss.

"your lips taste like coffee." I say smiling.

"okay orange juice girl" She says.

"What no hey orange juice is the best." I say.

"In your dreams lover, Apple juice will always be better." She says.

I opened my mouth and put my hand over it.

"You did not just say that." I say.

"Oh i did." she says.

"Well looks like no more ice cream for you." I say looking at her smiling.

She gasps and then pretended like she was taking a knife out of her chest.

"come on you idiot." I say laughing at her.

We both laughed, then got ice cream and had an amazing night together.
