chapter 10

Tates POV-

I woke up with someone next to me and I had boxers on with just a bra on.
I don't remember anything that happened yesterday.
Shit did I go out and bring a girl home with me?

I started moving around and then I got up.

As I was walking I hit my leg on a wheelchair.
Wait.

"Relax, you got very drunk last night and you said that you were sweating so you took your clothes off and went to bed. Nothing happened." I hear a voice.

I turn around and see jenna.

"Shit jen i'm so sorry. I didn't do anything right?" I say.

"We can talk about it later. I'm gonna sleep for a bit more and you go do whatever you do." She says turning around and going under the blanket.

I smiled to myself.

2 Hours later.

I just got done working out and I think jenna is still asleep so I should probably go wake her up right? or no? Yeah I think i'm going to.

I went up to my room and saw her cuddled up with my blanket. she looked so cute. 

I walked up to her and sat next her to her and started rubbing her cheek. There were some tear streaks with mascara and now i'm really worried I did something.

"that feels nice." she says in a sleepy voice.

I smile.

"come on you gotta wake up it's 11." I say.

"exactly it's still morning so no I don't have to get up." she says.

"If you don't get up i'm gonna carry you into the bathroom and put you under my shower and turn it on for you." I say.

She opened her eyes and looked at me with a mad face.

"calm down darling I was just joking around with you." I say smiling.

She looks down and smiles.

"I really hate you." She says

"As long as you feel something for me." I say smirking.

She picks up a pillow and hits me in my face.

"um ow." I say picking up a pillow and hitting her back.

"You're such a child." she says

"You literally hit me first." I say.

She smiles at me and then slowly gets onto my lap. She puts her head on my neck. After a minute of us sitting like that I hear a snore.

"what no jenna wake up." I say.

She shoots her head up and looks at me with one eye open.

"I'm literally up what are you talking about." she says.

I hold her and walk to the bathroom and put her on the side of the sink.

"Brush your teeth. I'll bring you breakfast. Yell if you need me." I say

I'm now downstairs making breakfast. I made myself a protein shake and then for jenna and i, eggs, bacon, and pancakes.

I turn around with the plates and see jenna which absolutely scared the shit out of me.

"oh my god how the hell did you get down here." I say.

" your room has an elevator duh." she says.

I roll my eyes at her and put her plate on the table.

We ate in silence for about 5 minutes until I decided to speak up.

"Hey jen I have a question." I say looking at her.

She looks up at me.

"Earlier this morning when I came down, I saw shattered glass in the hallway. Did I hurt you? Is that why you were crying?" I say.

"What no you didn't hurt me Tate. Do you really not remember anything about last night?" she says.

I shake my head no.

She grabbed my hand and then explained everything to me.

"I don't even remember responding to your text last night. God I must've drank so much I forgot absolutely everything. Jenna i'm so sorry, If I said anything messed up or rude I didn't mean it and I hope you understand that." I say. 

She looked down and then grabbed my hand again.

"Last night you said there was nothing between us. Was that true?" She says.

I grabbed her chin and lifted her face up and I kissed her.

"Of course not jenna. It's just all my life i've never been with anyone and i've never gotten close to someone. Jenna when i'm with you it's like the whole world stops and it's just the two of us and i'm not gonna lie that scares the hell out of me but I know I need and want to let you in, to see me and to know me but I've just been so scared because no one has ever gotten this far." I say.

I look at her and see tears falling down so i wipe them away for her.

"i won't hurt you and I won't leave you. Tate I really want us to be more than whatever this is right now and I hope one day it happens. you've become so much to me in such little time so that's how I know what I feel for you is real. I'll wait for you if thats what you need." she says.

I hug her and we hold eachother in silence for about 3 minutes and then we let go.

"Come on, i think i should get you home right? your parents are probably wondering where you are." I say with a small laugh.

"yeah they are probably questioning aliyah like crazy." she says laughing.

We finish eating and then I help her in the car and take her to her parents.
