chapter 16

Jennas POV-

"Jenna, I think I love you." she says out of breath.

"I think I love you too." I said smiling at her.

"I am so sorry for what I put you through. I just wanted to protect you and your family but I realized I was just hurting the both of us by doing this. And don't get me wrong I understand if you're upset with me still but I never stopped thinking about you and us and what we could have been or can be. I've never felt this way for anyone but you Jenna. You like have me wrapped around you and all I want is to be with you. Will you be my girlfriend? And and look you don't have to answer right now-" she says.

I put my finger on her lips and let a laugh out.

"shh shh of course i'll be your girlfriend. I love you and I want to be with you." I say smiling at her.

"I know you do." She says smiling back.

I raised an eyebrow at her.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"You told me you were in love with me when you were drunk the night of liv's party. I never said anything because I was too scared to and I thought you only said it because you were drunk." She says.

I back away and put my hand on my mouth.

"Stop that's embarrassing." I say laughing.

"No I think its romantic." She says.

She walks up to me and hugs me and we stay like that for a minute or two just hugging in silence. It wasn't awkward or uncomfortable, I think this is what we needed from each other.

"I missed you a lot." I hear softly next to my ear.

"I know baby I missed you too." I say hugging her tighter. 

I hear sniffling so I back away and see tears falling from her eyes. I cup her face and kiss her head.

She doesn't let anyone see her cry, i felt better knowing i wasn't just anyone to her. I was her girlfriend, I was someone she loved. She feels safe with me and I won't let her regret that.

After looking at her, I saw she had faded bruises and a cut on her chin.

"What happened to you?" I say concerned.

"Just some fights but i'm okay. I'm still here right?" she lets a chuckle out.

I roll my eyes at her and put my hand out. She takes it and as I was walking up the stairs she smacked my ass and I heard her laugh. I rolled my eyes and smiled and then opened my room door.

"stay with me please." I say

"Of course." She says.

She lays down and I get on top of her. I kiss her and then I felt myself fall asleep. Finally in the arms I missed so much.

I woke up to my alarm going off and i moved over feeling Tate next to me and smiled as I remembered last night.

"ugh turn it off its loud." I hear tate mumble.

I smile and turn it off.

I lay back down and tate wraps her arms around me.

"I'm so glad you're mine especially through everything. thank you." Tate says and then kisses my head.

"I'm so glad too. I love you." I say.

"And I love you." Tate says.
