Chapter Thirty - Surprise.

Times like this is into consideration of how much I f***ed up. I let Lauryn into my life again and it's become a mess. It's been 2 weeks since the little outburst occurred in the canteen. Ever since I haven't heard from Anna; she can't even bare to look at me in the halls yet I haven't done anything about this. Just let my some what 'normal' life take over.. I lay in my bed spinning my basketball on one finger and consistently sighing at my mistakes. A sudden knock is placed on my door. "Come in.." I mumble. Lauryn walks into my room and sits next to me. "Whats up?" She chirps. "What do you think Sherlock?" I mumble continuing with my basket skills. "Forget about her, you did what you could and she went and made a massive drama about it. She's an attention seeker who-" I stop both my balls and Lauryn mid sentence, "And your not? This all happened because of you, if you had just accepted it we could have still maintained a good relationship between you and I. Just give it up and leave Lauryn.." I groan. Lauryn scooches closer to me and rests her head on my shoulder. I could care less about this right now, she knows I don't lover yet she forces it. "You need to relax; live a little. I was thinking about throwing you an early birthday party just with your close friends? It would be nothing big and it would be something to cheer you up." She says. I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea, an attempt to forget everything which has happened. "Please? No drama. Just us." Lauryn pleads. "I guess it would be cool.." I respond. "Great! Be ready by 6ish and I'll get everything sorted don't worry." Lauryn says jumping up and heading to the door. "Lauryn?" I say just before she heads out. "Hm?" "Thank you." I say smiling slightly. "No problem, you deserve this." She says smiling. Maybe tonight will be cool.

"Yeah they did." I exclaim. "Prove it." David laughs. "I-I just can't but they did" Right now David and I debating whether unicorns over powered the Dinosaur Era. "I rest my case." David says. "Fine, what do you want to do?" I giggle. "Well I was thinking of taking you to the park?" He asks hopefully. "As what? A date?" I question. "Well you'll just have to wait and see." He says getting of his couch and walking into his closet. "Here take this " He say rolling me his spare skateboard. "Lead the way." I motion.

*15 Minutes Later *

I carelessly skate the though the park, opening my arms as if I were flying. I feel the cool breeze push against my as I meander through the depths of laughing children. "Hey Anna! Wait up!" I hear David shout behind me.  He rides beside me suddenly grabbing a hold of my hand. I jump at his sudden gesture but acknowledge the that I am enjoying it. "Want to go eat something? I would kill for a burger and fries right now." I groan as David laughs. "Sure, there's a cute little Urban place around here we can go to." We both make our way there, our fingers intertwined.  I haven't actually noticed how helpful David's been through out these past two weeks. I guess it's had a minor effect on me as to how I feel about him. Not major- minor. We take our seats and I decide to speak up. "Thank you David, for everything." I smile. "You don't need to thank me for anything. You've just needed someone to support you and it just happened to me." He says placing his hand on mine. "Anna!" I hear someone shout from behind. I turn around and spot Maya approaching. "Hey!" I say getting up and embracing her into a hug. "How have you been? I haven't spoken to you in weeks." She chirps. "Too much to explain right now, come over mine later?" I say. "I can't, I'm grounded." She giggles. "Dude, the how-" "You know how sentimental my dad is. Come over to mine now if you aren't bus— Whoa, hi there?" She says noticing David behind me. "This is David, a friend Maya." I say putting emphasis on the last phrase. "Well then you can tell me more about your friend right now, on the way to my house. "I really can't ditch him like this and I'm sure Cam—" I say whilst being dragged away. "Well, I'm sure you guys could reprogramme or something so it was nice meeting you and uh.. yeah." Maya stutters grabbing the skateboard and leaving- with me. "Maya!?" I whisper-shout as I am being pulled. "C'mon, I'll tell you when we get back."

*At the Boyce Household*

"Star explaining now." I say as we reach Maya's house door. "Oh, he was super cute!" She chirps as we open the door. "Was that it?!" I screech as she opens the door. "Yeah!" She laughed. "You could have told me when we were there, I could have hooked you up or something.." I smirk nudging her arm and sending her into fits of laughter. We enter the living room and are unpleasantly greeted by two familiar faces which I dreaded seeing. Lauryn and Cameron. "Anna! Hey." Cam says jumping up from his seat and walking up to me. "Hi." I say bluntly. "Do you want anything to drink or uh eat?2 He stutters. "No, I was just leaving." I say turning around. "Aw, don't leave! Cam and I were just about to take a selfie. You're here now so you can take it." She smiles. "The exact reason why I shall be leaving now, see you some other time Maya." I say. "No, Anna please stay. I'm grounded and I don't think I could put up with these two love birds.." She begs, pulling on my shirt. "Please?" "Ugh.. Why am I doing this. Fine" I say scratching my temple. I glance over at Cameron and slight smile appears on his face. I can't help but slightly smile with him. This isn't right...

Haiii guys! I AM SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING FOR SOO LONG! I'VE HAD NO WIFI ALL THIS WEEK SOO I WASN'NT ABLE TO UPDATE. I AM SO SO SORRY! I'VE HAD  MESSAGES ASKING IF I WAS GOING TO DELETE THE BOOK BUT I PROMISE THATT I WOULDN'T EVER! I'm  updating tomorrow for sure so please don't give up on me. So much has been going on and I just haven' t had the time but I am trying ya'll!
