Chapter Seven-Time. Pressure.

C A M E R O N:

"Time of death, 2100 hours"

I hear doctors outside of Anna's room discussing another unfortunate patient's death. I'm so glad Anna's going to be alright. It's been exactly 9 hours and 40 minutes since Anna was taken into the hospital. She's suffered minor injuries to her appendix, all because of me.. Her family are gathered around her hospital bed along with me. Kris is sat next to her holding one of her hands whilst I'm holding the other. I haven't left her side ever since the incident although the paparazzi are driving me crazy. Okay I get it she's the adopted daughter of one the most famous families in the world but give her some space. At one point I got so fed up that I went out and threatened to punch one of them; wonder how that gonna go down in the media. The room is silent; we're all awaiting for the doctors further news. Is she doing to die? I wouldn't be able to live with my self if she did. It would've been my fault for stabbing her, well, figuratively speaking she stabbed herself but I was the cause of it. Please Anna don't bail on me, I need y-- " Mrs Jenner?" The doctor suddenly walks in. "Y-yes, that me." Kris says turning her head towards the doctor. "Anna is going to be fine," Everyone lets out a sigh of relief as the Doctor continues to talk," However, the injury may take some time to heal so she'll have to take it easy. In the meantime I'd advise for her stay in here until tomorrow morning when it would be most suitable to wake her up." My face lights up. "Thank you Doctor, Thank you so much!" Kris thanks whilst showing the doctor some gratitude. I can finally relax a little. I lean back into my chair and literally sink into it; still gripping onto Anna's hand. Kendall comes over and sits next to me. "How're you feeling Cam?" She asks, ruffling my hair. "Eh, I honestly don't know. I'm just happy that Anna's gonna be fine, after all I am the cause of this." I respond looking down at my sneakers. "Hey don't say that! It was an accident, these things happen. Just don't go round blaming yourself for this okay? Your her hero." Kourtney chirps in, giving my arm a tight squeeze. Your her hero. Those three words rang inside my head. I'm her hero.

*2 Hours Later*

Kim, Kourtney and Scott went home earlier on and everyone else has fallen asleep. I'm the only one awake. I suddenly feel her thumb twitch. "Anna?" I ask, propping my self back onto her bed, "Anna, if you can hear me, t-twitch your thumb again. L-like you did before."I stutter. She did as I said. Damn she's a clever girl, I holler for the doctors. Two doctors come rushing and the whole family awakes. "Anna?" Say one of the doctors. She has short blonde hair with green eyes. Her complexion was a natural tan, which complemented her freckles perfectly. "Anna, sweety can you hear me." She once again twitches her thumb. "There's no sign of movement." She says. "No, she's twitching her thumb look."I raise my hand and she doesn't move, "Uh, s-say something... Um, Anna would you like.. A-a burger?" I ask. I receive questioning looks from her family. What the heck did you just ask her Cameron? You don't ask someone that when there in a life-death situation. Dick head. Her thumb suddenly moves. "Look!" I direct there attention at her hand. "Dear god! Anna baby, mommy's here!" Kris whispers into her ear. The door swing open and reveal my dad standing behind it. "Dad this isn't a good time.." I whisper-shout. "Oh. Uh... right.. Sorry Mrs Jenner, I just came to pick up Cameron." He gives me the 'lets go' look. "Dad, she just woke up--" I whine. "Cameron I wish I could leave you here but I'm sure Kris and her family would like some privacy." "Cameron, thank you so much. You really are her hero." Kris say squeezing my hand and then letting go. I give her a reassuring smile and walk towards my dad. "I-I wouldn't mind a burger b-by the w-way." I hear and angelic voice say. I spin around I see Anna looking directly at me. She woke up. I flash my cheesy grin at her whilst she raises her thumb and wiggles it about. I laugh at her gestures before shooting her a wink and walk out.

Aww that was pretty swee!Okay I'm not gonna write too much because I'm updating right now because a really needy and annoying friend *cough* @ayelola *cough* is asking for one.. I love her really (unconditionally)
