"There you go."

After finishing nearly everything Danbi had bought, she helped him clean up and led him to her car to drive them to her apartment.

Half an hour later, Chan stood next to her in her bedroom getting handed a fresh set of towels and a spare toothbrush. He thanked her for the millionth time with a smile.

"Everything you could need is in the bathroom." Danbi returned the smile. "Just have a look. Minho keeps it in there, in case he sleeps over."

"Thank you." He disappeared in the bathroom and moments later the water started running.

Danbi changed the bedding of her second set and moved her out of her bedroom into the living room. She would take the couch, so Chan could sleep in her bed.

Closing the door of her bedroom, Danbi changed into a simple stripped short pyjama. After throwing her clothes in the hamper in her room, she moved to the kitchen to boil some tea water.

Danbi didn't hear Chan enter the kitchen. He cleared his throat behind her. She almost dropped the kettle while pouring the hot water over the tea bags.

"Are you okay?" Chan panicked after seeing the water splatter.

"I'm okay," Danbi sat down the kettle again before turning around. "You just surprised me."

"Are you sure?" Chan moved closer, scanning her arms and her hands for signs of injury. Danbi nodded immediately.

She was at a loss for words. Chan's hair was still wet, showing his curly hair structure. It made him look boyish, a little bit younger with his bare face.
He had changed into a fresh black shirt and shorts.

And if she was honest with herself, he looked even more handsome. She turned again, mostly to hide her rosy cheeks.

„Do you feel better?" she asked while removing the tea bag.

There was something about this, seeing him comfortable in her home, that warmed her heart. For her, he was just a 24-year-old man and she almost forgot his job.

Danbi swallowed, closing her eyes for a second to gather herself before turning again to hand him one of the cups.

"A lot, thank you." Chan took the steaming cups from her hands and followed her into the living room.

"Then the first step is completed." she smiled and settled into the plush furniture.

"Good Night, Chan." Danbi watched him stand up and wander down the hall. He had tried to talk her into taking the bed but Chan had no success. She wanted him to sleep properly.

It was close to 3 am. They had spent the time talking over various things while sipping their tea. It successfully calmed the male down and soon Chan started to jawn.

After turning off the lights, Danbi crawled underneath her duvet and pulled it up to her chin. Her eyes grew heavy and slowly closed. She drifted into a light sleep.

"Danbi?" His voice and gentle nudging pulled out of her light stage of sleep.

Confused yet concerned, Danbi sat up to look at the Idol. The was no light, so she saw a shadow in front of her.

„What's wrong, Chan?" she asked

It took him a moment to respond. Hesitating because he felt embarrassed. His voice shook and broke as spoke again.

Danbi has gotten up and moved closer. She reached for him and squeezed his arm for comfort, already having a reason for him waking up her in her mind.

"My sinus problem is not letting me sleep," he mumbled with his head turned away.

Danbi waited for him to go on, rubbing his arm.

„To be honest, I'm scared," he barely got the words out. Tears stung in his eyes. Danbi's heart broke. She could tell by the sound of his voice that he was.

He sniffled and wiped his cheek with the back of his hand.

„Would it help if I slept in the same room with you?" Danbi asked carefully. He made a positive sound and looked at her for the first time. With the lights of the city illuminating the room a bit, she could see his wet cheeks and tired eyes.

Without a second thought, Danbi collected her bedding in her arms and took his hand to walk back to her bedroom.

A few moments later both lay in her bed cuddled up in their blankets. Their hand rested intervient between them. Chan could barely hold his eyes open.

„One of the members stays with me," he whispered. „I have nightmares about what could happen almost every night." His speaking slowed down.

„Sleep, Chan," Danbi moved her thumb over the back of his hand. "I'm here."

She watched him smile before pulling his blanket even higher. He tried to say something but it was a mere mumble. She believed he wanted to thank her again.

His breathing slowed down and deepened, his hand relaxed him hers as he drifted in the land of dreams.
