Being with Chan felt like slipping into a favorite, well-worn sweater—soft, familiar, and soothing.

The first few months of their relationship blossomed amid the chaos of their busy lives. Initially, carving out time for each other felt like a challenge, especially with the demands of their schedules and the upcoming tour leading up to the Idols traveling across the globe. However, as they adapted, their bond deepened, transforming Danbi's connection with Chan into something beautifully profound and drawing her even closer to the rest of the members in his group.

Their home became filled with laughter, shared experiences, and cherished memories. Whether they were cozied up in front of the television or engaged in high-stakes gaming sessions, Danbi was enveloped in the warmth of people who deeply cared for her. It was heartwarming to witness the genuine excitement of the members as they eagerly planned outings to include her in their off days.

Some days, as Chan immersed himself in the creative process at the studio alongside Jisung and Changbin, the other five Idols would come bursting through the door with plans to whisk Danbi away on adventures. Occasionally, she would spend her Home Office Days at the company, absorbed in her editing work while the rehearsal happened around her. Their management had been supportive of their relationship from the moment they knew, reminding the couple of the concerns of public scrutiny, but they gracefully navigated the balance of remaining under the radar to avoid igniting rumors.

Yet, despite these challenges, Danbi and Chan managed to relish regular escapes—sneaking off for dinners, indulging in late-night movie marathons, and wandering through art galleries. Many of these escapades required a touch of creativity and stealth, often unfolding during the late hours or with Chan securing an entire venue just for the two of them. At first, Danbi had demurred at such extravagant gestures, but she soon recognized that for Chan, quality time held remarkable significance; it was, after all, the very language of his love.

"Missed you," Chan breathed softly, enveloped in her warm embrace. His strong arms encircled her, the steady thump of his heart a soothing melody against her ear. She felt her cheeks gently squished against his chest, the familiarity of his presence enveloping her in comfort. Tilting his head, he rested it lightly atop hers, a gesture that felt intimate and secure.

"I missed you more," she murmured into the cozy fabric of his hoodie. The Idol had just returned from the US leg of the tour. Chan had barely had time to catch his breath, rushing from the airport straight to her apartment, eager to have her in his arms again.

"That's impossible, Bi," he replied with a grin, his dimples deepening as he pulled back to catch her gaze. Her heart fluttered at his playful banter, and a soft giggle escaped her lips as he drew her in once more, leaning down to capture her lips in a tender kiss.

To steady herself, she clutched the soft fabric of his hoodie, grounding herself in the moment. Time stretched and slowed, the outside world fading into a distant hum.

"Mhm," Danbi sighed contentedly, keeping her eyes closed as Chan rested their foreheads together. Their shared warmth created a sacred space known only to them.

"I've got you something," Chan whispered, breaking the silence and prompting her to open her eyes once again.

"To celebrate 100 days." His smile radiated warmth, the crescents of his eyes sparkling in a way that made her feel utterly adored—something she had treasured since their very first encounter.

They reached that small milestone while Chan was abroad in the US.

With a mischievous glimmer in his eyes, Chan urged her to pack a bag for an overnight stay, refusing to tell her any details despite her eager questions. He insisted she include something cozy and something chic for the special outing he had planned. Pouting, yet unable to suppress her excitement, Danbi complied. Even after three months of dating the Idol, she found it hard to believe her incredible luck.

Since returning to her home country and crossing paths with Chan on her very first day back, her world had transformed.  And through him, she had discovered seven remarkable friends to lean on no matter where they were.

It felt as if the colors of her world had returned and were even more vibrant, adding life to every corner around her. Chan made her feel cherished and secure, giving her a happiness she had thought was lost forever.
