Trinity's POV

I walked out of art, I smiled as I waved to my teacher Ms. Valentine. "Have a good weekend Trinity!" she told me, "You too Ms. Valentine!" I replied with a smile. As I walked into the hallway, I saw River a little bit front of me but before I could get to her, Henry and the gang stopped me. "So, Trinity was it? I see you've changed quite a bit." Henry smirked, looking me up and down. "Why do you care? You'd rather call me a slut than get to know me before so why should you get to know me now?" I sassily asked him, not caring if he'd get pissed at me. He scoffed, "I was going to ask if you'd join our gang. Sorry for calling you a slut and whatever else I said." Henry replied.

"You're forgiven, but talk to River and if she joins then so will I." I replied. "Really? I'm giving you the opportunity to be apart of the most feared gang in all of Derry and you're letting some bitch make the decision for you?" Henry retorted, crossing his arms. "Uh yeah? She's like my best friend and you made fun of me AND fought her. I don't want to lose her over some dumbass guys." I said, rolling my eyes and raising my brow, "Either she decides or I don't join. Got it?" I asked as I looked Henry in the eye. "Fine, but if she says no, then you both are gonna go through hell." After that, I pushed through the gang and walked out of school, trying to find River before they do.

River's POV

I walked down the sidewalk back to my house. Once I walked inside, I saw my mom sat in her chair watching TV. "Hey mama, I was about to head to the pharmacy to get my meds, do you need anything while I'm out?" I asked quietly, "Come here and speak to my face." She angrily replied. "Yes ma'am.." I replied while walking over to her. "Now, ask me again to my face." My mom said sternly, "I said I'm going to the pharmacy to get my meds soon, do you need anything while I'm out?" I asked her once again. "Get me some more cigarettes, you know which ones I like and don't take any out the pack this time. Hand me my purse, will ya?" "Yes ma'am." I replied and grabbed her purse for her to grab money for cigarettes. She snatched her purse from my hand and took out a $20.00 bill and handed it to me. "I have to put my bag in my room and then I'll go." I said walking to my room and dropping my book bag at the foot of my bed but I also grabbed $10.00 from under my mattress. As I walked by I hid my $10.00 bill in the sleeve of my oversized sweatshirt.

I walked down the sidewalk to and turned a corner, seeing an old looking hop scotch board. I smiled at the memories of little Patrick and me playing and him attempting to cheat but falling on his face. I laughed a bit and started hopping on the numbers. When I was done, I saw Trinity running up to me, "Oh my god, did you talk to Henry yet?" She asked me, a bit out of breath "No??" I answered questioningly, "Okay good." Trinity said with a sigh of relief. "Just walk with me and explain." I said and started walking. "So Henry asked me to join the gang and I told him to ask you because if you don't then I wouldn't either and he said that if you say no then we'd go through hell." Trinity said quickly. "Wait what?" I asked, "Slow down and tell me again." I told her. Trinity took a deep breath before repeating what she said but slower. We finally made it to the pharmacy and she came inside with me so we could keep talking, "So you're telling me, Henry Bowers, the biggest asshole ever, asked you to be in 'Bowers Gang' and you told him to ask ME?" I asked, a bit worried of what would happen. "Yeah, I didn't want to betray you by joining or something." She replied as we walked down an isle. "Hey, I'm gonna go get some Takis and a a Monster Energy drink. Be right back." Trinity told me as I went up to the counter "What can I get you Ms. Valentine?" He asked me with his signature creepy smile. "My mom asked for filtered Camel cigarettes and I need to pick up my refill of anxiety medication." I said as I handed him the $20.00 bill. "One moment, I'll be right back sweetheart." Mr. Bowie said with a wink, I fake smiled at him as he walked to the back to get the cigarettes. I heard Trinity coming back over to me, she looked puzzled at the interaction between me and Mr. Bowie. She looks at me with a disgusted expression, I shrugged my shoulders as I'm used to it and it doesn't bother me as much anymore.

I heard Mr. Bowie coming back and Trinity had her snacks in hand. When he got to the counter, he had 2 boxes of Camel cigarettes, my medication bottle, and a pack of Marlboro reds in a small plastic bag. "Uhm, I didn't ask for Marlboro reds?" I questioningly said, "It's free sweetheart, my treat." He replied, "Oh, thank you Mr. Bowie." I replied, fake smiling and giggling slightly. "And how about you darling? What can I do for you today?" He asked, putting his attention on to Trinity. "I'll just take these two things, thank you." She said politely. I could tell Mr. Bowie was staring at the small bit of cleavage at the top of her cropped top. He smiled that creepy smile and adjusted his glasses as he rung up and put her items in a bag, Trinity fake smiled back at him. Mr. Bowie smiled a bit bigger and I could tell he was probably horny. 'Fucking creep.' I thought to myself as he handed her the bag and their hands accidentally touched a bit. "Have a nice rest of your day ladies." He said to me and Trinity, "You too Mr. Bowie!" we fake enthusiastically replied, Trinity put her hair behind her ear and I winked at him before we turned and were about to walk out. As we were about to exit the door, we heard Mr. Bowie say, "I'm sorry Eddie, your inhaler refill isn't covered this time." Trinity and I turned back around seeing Eddie Kaspbrak at the counter, "A-are you sure it's not just a-a glitch or something?" Eddie stuttered. I saw Trinity get sly look on her face as she began to saunter to the counter, swinging her hips side to side in attempts to catch Mr. Bowies attention. "Excuse me, Mr. Bowie? I couldn't help but over hear that this boys refill was not covered?" She asked him sweetly.

"Yes darling, you heard correctly. It's not covered." He said. "I'll pay for it, how much?" She offered. "It's $15.00" Mr. Bowie said as he looked at his small computer screen. "Here you go, $15.00." Trinity said as she handed him a $10 and $5 bills. "O-okay then, I'll go get that refill!" Mr. Bowie said as he started walking to the back. "Thank you.." Eddie trailed off, "No problem." Trinity replied as she gave him a sweet smile before walking back over to the door, "Bye Eddie!" We both said in sync with bright smiles before finally walking out the door.
