Before heading back home, Heeseung drove his boyfriend first to his house to ensure his safety. They were both exhausted from practicing for their graduation, which was taking place on Friday. With just two days left, Him and Sunoo were going to graduate together, and they couldn't find the right words to express their happiness.
Upon arriving in front of Sunoo's house, Heeseung promptly got out of the car to open the door for his boyfriend. Heeseung always treated Sunoo with utmost gentleness, making Sunoo fall even more deeply in love with him. Sunoo exited the car after gathering his belongings and gave Heeseung a goodbye kiss.
"Thank you, lovey. I'll go now," Sunoo said, and Heeseung simply smiled and nodded.
"Drive safely, okay? I love you so much, my big baby," Sunoo added, causing Heeseung to chuckle before responding, "I love you the most," to his beloved.
Sunoo walked towards the front door, waving, and Heeseung waved back before sending a dramatic flying kiss. Sunoo playfully caught the kiss and returned it in an equally dramatic manner.
After seeing Sunoo safely inside the house, Heeseung also entered the car and started the engine. He drove towards their own house, yearning for some rest. Despite feeling tired, Heeseung was filled with joy knowing that he was about to graduate from college.
Since it was nighttime, there was no traffic, and he reached their house in just 25 minutes. He parked the car and made his way inside, a smile adorning his face as he recalled Sunoo catching his flying kiss. However, his smile vanished instantly when he saw his father sitting at the dining table, accompanied by unfamiliar faces.
'Is he waiting for me?' Heeseung wondered to himself, snapping out of his thoughts when his father called his name.
"Heeseung, my son! I didn't realize you were already home," his father approached him with a wide smile, leaving Heeseung feeling confused.
This isn't like his father. Why is he acting this way?
"Dara, this is my son Heeseung, and Heeseung, this is Dara," his father introduced him to the girl sitting beside a middle-aged woman and man.
"Heeseung, why don't you give your future wife a hug?" his father suggested, further adding to Heeseung's confusion.
'Wife? What on earth is he thinking? Is he trying to set me up?'
"What do you mean, wife, Dad? What makes you think I'll marry some random girl I don't even know?" Heeseung asked, his laughter tinged with sarcasm.
"Lee Heeseung! You are marrying Choi Dara after your graduation, and that's final!" his father shouted, but Heeseung was no longer afraid of his father's outbursts. He had grown accustomed to being treated this way.
His attention shifted to Dara Choi, who interrupted their conversation.
"Heeseung, we can get to know each other first if you want—" she began to flirt with him, but Heeseung cut her off.
"I already have a boyfriend," Heeseung stated, provoking Mr. Henry's anger.
"What do you mean, boyfriend, Heeseung? You don't have a boyfriend, and you are marrying Dara. Stop being ridiculous and disobedient to your father, you ungrateful brat!" his father's face had turned red with anger, but Heeseung simply rolled his eyes and grabbed his jacket.
"There's no way I'm marrying that girl. You really have no taste, Mr. Henry Lee, do you?" he commented, casting judgmental eyes towards Dara, before heading outside before his father could stop him.
He drove straight to Sunoo's house and knocked on the door. Heeseung's smile widened when he saw Sunoo opening the door, a smile mirrored on his face.
"I read your text, love. Come inside. Let's rest first and talk tomorrow instead. I know how tired you are, lovey," Sunoo said in the softest voice he could, embracing his boyfriend in a warm hug.
Sunoo was dressed in a cute pajama ensemble, complete with a headband, giving the impression that he had just finished his skincare routine.
Heeseung entered the house, and they spent the entire night cuddling together, finding comfort and solace in each other's arms.
