*A few months later*

Today was the anual company party, we celebrate our success and everyone in the company gets a bonus. Everyone is invited and we drink responsibly like the adults we are, Logan was supposed to be accompanying me to the party but she said she'll meet there since her mom was sick and she had to go check on her first.

So now I was at the company standing next to some of my workers, drinking a glass of red fruit juice that Logan made me this morning. I'm not supposed to drink alcohol so she makes me this juice so I can get rid of that need to have alcohol.

I barely heard anything the workers said because I was too deep in my thoughts as I took small sips from my straw.

"Miss Storm" a voice called me catching my attention, I looked at this boy, I've never seen him here so I was confused on who he was.

"Yes?" I asked confused, he was about my age maybe but to me any guy my age is a boy. He smiled and gave me his hand to shake.

"My name is Jake and I'm a big fan of your work"

"I'm sorry do I know you?" He smiled taking a step closer which I found a bit weird, but I'm creeped out by every man I meet. He could just be acting friendly but I'm too anxious to see it.

"I'm from the sales department, I like the way you run things around here" he complimented again, I took a sip and nodded my head trying to look as uninterested as I could so he can fuck off.

"Okay? do you want a signature?" He laughed thinking I was joking, I wasn't, but he was still laughing. He took another step closer to me and I backed away from him, just as he was about to take another step a body slipped between the both of us. Logan's taller frame stood there blocking my view.

"Would you like to explain why you're bothering my wife?" She asked with her arms folded, you could see her muscles through the fabric and it was the most attractive thing I've ever seen. I've never noticed that.

"W-wife? I don't see a ring on her finger?" He tried to pump his chest out to seem less intimidated by her presence. Yeah because you were too busy staring at my boobs to notice it.

"Baby?" She called making me tilt my head to take a peek at the guy, he was standing there nervously gripping on his drink for dear life.

"hmm?"

"Would you like to show him?" I could hear the amusement in her voice, I put my hand up wiggling my fingers making sure he saw the diamond ring before taking another sip of my juice. He swallowed and scratched the back of his neck nervously.

"Now shoo and let me enjoy my beautiful wife" she waved him off and he nodded quickly before leaving us. She turned to look at me with a smirk on her face, I put my glass on the table next to me and crossed my arms.

"You're late" she put her hands on my waist and pulled me to her, she pecked my lips multiple times before speaking.

"I know, I know. I'm so sorry baby, I'll make it up to you"

I stared at the woman standing in front of me with a raised eyebrow, I'm pretty sure you're wondering what's going on. Ring? Wife?

Well, she didn't propose, we didn't have a wedding we just continued with the engagement. She said if we were going to do that she has to get me a ring, so nobody would think about making a move on me. Honestly I liked how possessive she got when we made it official.

"I'm still mad at you" I pushed her face away from me playfully and she grabbed my hand and kissed it softly before intertwining our fingers.

"I'll help you out with that when we go home" she whispered making me roll my eyes at her. We spent the evening talking and feeling on each other from time to time.
