Maddie woke up in a cold sweat, gasping as she sat up. Beside her, Taylor was sitting cross-legged, watching her closely.

"What happened? Are you okay?" The blonde asked, concern in her eyes. Maddison, her breath erratic, turned her head towards Taylor, her hand covering her mouth as tears slowly ran down her face. "Hey, calm down, it's okay," Taylor said, wrapping her arms around the redhead's slight figure.

"She's gone, Tay. She's really gone. Tay, I have no one else left." Maddie sobbed, her hands beginning to tremble. Taylor, taking a moment to consider what she was about to say, gathered herself.

"You have me. Let's put our past aside and start fresh. Let me help you cope with this. Please, Maddie." Taylor pleaded, hoping the redhead would agree to her idea. Maddie nodded, still shaking, but with her sobs subsiding. Silent tears rolled down her cheeks.

"I want to leave. I want to go back home. Please, Taylor." Maddison said, her head buried in the blondes neck. Taylor slowly picked Maddie up and sat her back down on the bed, and then grabbing the still unpacked suitcase, opening it and pulling out a few comfortable clothes; two short sleeved, oversized shirts and two pairs of grey sweatpants. She threw one of each to Maddie.

"Let's go then."

"It's warm, why are you wearing a long sleeve underneath?" Taylor asked Maddison once they were sat down in the car.

"Oh I just... wait I haven't said bye to Evie I'll be back." The redhead said, quickly getting out of the car and rushing inside. Taylor looked around, seeing Maddie phone left on the drivers seat. Coincidentally, it vibrated as a notification was sent.

It's not polite to look at someone else's messages, right?

But it's just a notification.

Taylor tapped the screen a few times, lighting it up, and then swiped up to see who it was. It was someone under the name 'Kelsi'. The name rang a bell in Taylor's mind.

Kelsi. The performers! Kelsi was one of them!

Just then, the door opened once more, and Taylor saw Maddie come out to the house. As she sat in the drivers seat and checked her phone, Taylor could see the pure look of fear in her face. However, it was immediately covered up by a smile.

"Thank you, Taylor. For this. I don't know what I would've done if I didn't make it here."

Taylor smiled back, as they headed to the airport in a comfortable silence, the radio playing quietly in the background.

"I need to tell you something." Taylor said out of nowhere, with another 10 minutes until the airport.

"Go on, I'm listening." Maddison said back.
