2nd POV

As a successful songwriter, most of your songs are based on real life. It's summer vacation so you have time to rest from your tedious work. Your family have a summer house far from the city so you decided to have your treat there.

'Sigh. Finally. This is happiness.' You looked up and saw the bright sky staring down at you. You quickly went inside and put all your things upstairs. After that, you decided to read a book to pass time.

"It's very peaceful here. I... I wonder how is he right now and his fiancée. I'm glad he finally found one that sees the world like he does." You reminisced all those memories of you with him.

You remembered the song you wrote so you tried to sing half of it.

When we grow apart, it's destiny

"Himuro... Well...past is past now. Nngh..." You stood up and and went to the forest. There, you continue to sing while remembering the summer time where you gave him your letter.

If I could convince myself it was meant to be,
maybe I wouldn't feel so alone
Each and every single answer that comes my way
Have way too many hypocrisies to say
They erase the path that I need to take to the other side

You stopped by the cliff and sang the chorus. It was such a sight. Suddenly, you remembered the time you had your first date with him. He was really ready and wanted to have fun with you.

The song that I once sang and gave to you

You walked back to the forest and decided to continue singing.

"I love you huh? Those words really melted my heart. Hahaha. I can't help but laugh at how I must have looked like back then."

If I picked my love for you would I be able to go back

If I could one day hear every song that you heard
Breathe everything you breathed, feel everything you felt

You were now back in your summer house so you decided to take a break and sit at the terrace while looking at the far ocean.

"Sigh... I still remember those times. I wonder if he still does. Maybe not, considering he has a fiancée now. I still don't understand the way we broke up. It's kind of ridiculous. Because we're on a different level huh.... Sigh... Huh? What's this?" You looked down at the letter inside your book. You looked at it and noticed that it was his letter for you. All that was written there was his love for you but now it's all over.

Being in love is a great feeling but once it's over, it hurts. Trying to forget them is difficult but there will always be a someone that God has in stored for us.
