2nd POV

You were outside the gym waiting for your boyfriend. That person was none other than the famous copy cat, Kise Ryouta. You were really happy when he confessed his love to you. You didn't expect that somebody like him will ever notice you.

But as time goes, your love life had been very difficult especially when you started to get threaten by this girls. They would always put things in your locker like nails on your shoes, pictures of your face with a dart, then suddenly it worsened just like this week which was they put some garbage in your locker. You didn't want to tell it to him but unknown to you, he knows it.

After their practice, you decided to approach him.

"Ryo-chan!" You called out. He turned around in surprise. It looked like he did not expect you to actually come and watch him practice.

"(First name)-cchi! What are you doing here?" You pursed your lips tightly while hiding the bitter smile that crept its way.

"I can't watch my own boyfriend play?"

"N-No, it's not that. It's just rare for you to go here especially after you told me that you're going to focus on your projects. Anyways, how are you?"

"I'm fine. Don't overwork yourself again okay?"

You were always the caring type and one to endure pain for the person you like.

Kise's POV

She's always like this. I don't want to see that forced smile again. I hate it. Maybe, just maybe, if I do it then those girls might just stop bullying her. It hurts but if it could protect her then I'd be willing to.

"(First name)-cchi. Meet me outside the school gate after our practice. I have something to tell you."

2nd POV

You nodded and decided to wait for him outside. It was really cold since it's already Autumn. You wonder what is it that he wants to say. Maybe it was to take you to a real date or maybe that he'll give you something.

Your phone rang. You looked at who it is and it was Takao or Taka-chan as what you would call him. "Hello? Taka-chan?"

"(First name)-chan! How's life?" He asked cheerfully. You smiled against your phone and stared at the sky.

"Very fine though I'm still receiving those threats."

"Don't you think now is the right time to report it? You might not know what will happen next. You're my childhood friend so I don't want you to suffer." He said.

"Mou~ Stop being a worrywart Taka-chan! I'm fine plus I don't want to worry him."

"Kise huh? Okay then. I'll always be here for you okay? So just be true to yourself."

"Thank you."

Takao has been very kind to you ever since you were children. He would always be there for you especially after the incident with your cousin. Your cousin died and he was there comforting you with all he can. He was always your light even now that you have a boyfriend, he supported you. You still remember the time when he promised to be your knight in shining armor. It was really funny.
