I lied in bed while staring at the ceiling as I tried to shake off the feeling of death in my lower abdomen. 'Period cramps' is what they called it. Period cramps my ass, they just make me wanna throw myself off a bridge more than anything else. A soft knock was heard on my door, and I answered with a simple hum. I was too focused on the pain to say anything anyway.
"I brought you some water, figured you might want some," he said as he put the glass on my bedside table. "You don't look too good," he stated.
"I hate everything," I blurted out, still sprawled out on my bed.
"Even Seungmin?" he asked.
"He's an exception."
"And me?"
"You too," I said while sitting up. "How could I hate you, my adorable little brother?" I stretched up my arm to grab his cheek and gave it a light squeeze. He chuckled, sitting down beside me. The pain had died down at this point, thankfully. I grabbed the glass of cold water and took a small sip, enjoying the feeling of the cold liquid going down my throat.
"I called Seungmin by the way. Since you're too lazy to take your phone and do it yourself," my brother spoke, making me look up at him.
"I could've managed without him but thank you. What would I do without you, Innie?" I said.
"You would probably be dead somewhere by now. It's no problem though," he smiled. I smiled back but suddenly felt another jolt of pain, making my face scrunch up. I put my glass aside and flopped back down on my bed, grabbing the nearest pillow and hugging it close.
"It hurts so bad," I stated mostly to myself than anything.
"Can't imagine what you're going through. Kinda happy I'm not though," my brother said.
"Ugh," I groaned and shoved the pillow in my face. The pain started getting worse, being almost unbearable. Another knock was heard, making my brother get up and open the front door. I whined and took the pillow out of my face to hug it properly.
The door of my room opened once again and I looked up to be met with Seungmin.
"Are you okay?" he asked and sat down close to me.
"I hate everything."
