5- Genie

I was studying in my room while listening to music, when a thought raced through my brain. "If ever a genie were to appear out of nowhere, what would be my wishes?" I thought. I don't know why I thought of that, but I did. And when I did, a genie appeared right beside me.

He looked like a normal human being though; except he was flying.

"I was just- passing through. Though I heard you were thinking about me" he spoke.

"You can read minds?" I asked, confused.

"Yes, I can read minds. I can also grant 3 wishes of your choice"

Is he serious? How did this happen? I didn't ask any question because I was thinking about what my wishes could be.

"My first wish is no more racism" I spoke confidently.

"First wish granted" he smiled. "My second wish is no more violence against women. I want them to live in peace finally"

"Second wish granted. You're very kind, woman" he told me. Yeah, okay I might be kind. But it's true, all of this suffering is pointless.

"My third wish... Is to live in my fame DR" I finally said.

"Ooh, of course. Third wish granted" he said while laughing. I felt my body go numb and my vision go blurry. I blacked out after about 30 seconds of this, my last sight being my history book.

I slowly woke up in a bed that I recognized.

"I know this bed. I know this room" I thought. I got up and went into the bathroom in my bedroom. I looked in the mirror and saw my DR self standing there. "No way..." I say, looking at myself more. I smiled widely and started vibing to nothing. "Oh my god oh my god" I chuckled lightly and went out the bathroom.

I started exploring my room a little bit, seeing some things that I haven't scripted like a cinnamon scented candle and a bunch of drawings in one of my drawers.

I also found a speaker on my desk, and so I fished up my phone and put music on.

I started vibing and singing along to the songs that were playing, when suddenly someone knocked at my door.

"Right, in my fame DR the whole Black Phone cast lives in the same house" I reminded myself while wondering who it might be.

I paused my music and made my way to the door. I opened it to see Tristan standing there with a wide smile on his face. I internally panicked but smiled anyway.

"Hey Liv, what's up?" He spoke. "Oh, y'know just... vibing, I guess haha" I answered.

I suddenly remembered my script; how can I forget that me and Tristan are going out??

"Come in, come in" I said, letting him enter my room. He stepped in and I closed the door behind him. He immediately pulled me into a hug, and I hugged back. Oh, how I needed this.

"I missed you" he spoke. "I missed you too" I smiled.

I took my phone and put another playlist on and went back to hugging my lover. I'm really happy I made this wish, this is amazing.

My hands were around his neck and his arms were around my waist. My head was resting on his shoulder, and he started swaying us side to side softly.

I love the feeling of his hands around me; it makes me feel safe. Safer than I've ever felt.

We stayed like this for a bit of time, and then we went to the kitchen to eat dinner.

I got to hang out with Miguel, Mason and Maddie and then I went to take a shower and change.

We all watched a movie together, and I noticed how scared Tristan gets when watching a horror movie. It's kinda funny not gonna lie.

After the movie, I talked a bit with Becca and Maddie and then I went to sleep, happiness flowing through my body.
