The cocoon of safety and feeling warm every morning didn't consume me today , I woke up to the uneasy feeling I got ; though I'm the happiest person on earth today . Looking to Matthew's side I can see he's missing , I sighed swinging my legs out of the bed . My body is sore , but all the pain is worth it .

Images of last night flashed in my head causing my cheeks to redden , I placed my hand at my mark the black lines that swirl around the letter M i was offically marked as his , I grinned like a fool walking slowly to the bathroom . A steamy shower would ease the feeling in my muscles .

The hot water felt amazing against my skin it was relaxing , still something in me was bothering me . So , I decided to search for Mathew , when carol spotted me and came running towards me . She stopped in her tracks and looked at me , puzzlement dominated her expression , and she started sniffing like a mad dog .
"What in the world is wrong with you ? " I pushed her to create space between us .

"You...something is different about y-" she gasped and covered her mouth shocked . It was my turn to get confused , is there something wrong with me . I looked down at my outfit , I was wearing as usual a mint coloured dress and white flats .

Suddenly her shocked face slipped away , and was replaced with a victory smirk . "You finished the mating proces, didn't you ?"

I forgot how to speak , and I could feel my cheeks heating . "So what ? " I scoffed , trying to defend myself .
She came closer mad hugged me tightly ."nothing , I'm just happy for you " carol exclaimed .

I hugged her back . "How did you know ? "

She backed and looked at me , then smiled . " your scent is different , it's more like the alpha's . And your you have that on your neck or did you have a tattoo last night , ; plus I can feel the power of your position got stronger , Luna" .

I looked at Carol she seemed to be having a conversation with someone through the mindlink , her gaze turned to me . " I'm sorry about what happened last night , I'll get guards to watch over your room . " she said .

"I don't think that's nec-"

She cut me off " ooh , alpha has ordered me to . " I looked away annoyed that Mathew didn't talk to me about this . " anyway , I need to get going " I nodded , and she bowed her head before she started walking away .
Something is up I said to my wolf .

I know I just have that feeling she replied . I shrugged this off and continued walking to Matthew's office .
I was facing the door now , and was about to inter , but I heard him talking to someone . The better choice was to wait here . As I waited there impatiently , I was getting nosy .

My ear was pushed to the door now , they must be really deep in their talk to not notice my existence out here . They seem to be arguing , because their voices were getting higher . Mathew was growling now , while the other man had a calm tone ; I think he was teasing Mathew with acting all calm .

The argue to walk in and stick to my angry Mate was tempting , but that'll get me in trouble . They were close to the door now .

"Give me one reason why I should not rip you to pieces " Mathew snarled .

" so mother and your little mate do not get killed by one of my men , who are just waiting for a sign from me . " the man replied , the word mother came forced out of his mouth ; as if he hated the lovely lady Alice is .

" keep them out of this , your not even worth mentioning their names " Mathew growled .

" ugh , you should choose fast little Mathew or it is your own lost ; goodbye brother " realization het me , the man inside was Henry . Aka : the evil brother .
