The woods passed by me , no certain image got stuck in my brain , no certain road was taken , no certain attempt of escape was preformed ; even when running away was hanging in front of me .
The wolf I was riding didn't even try to hide his trails , he knew we reached the point of defeat . I wanted to cry , I just couldn't find it in me to do so . To tired to be sad .
I rested my head against his back feeling his spine movements . Closed my eyes imaging a safe Matthew .
Matthew , would he consider this betrayal ; I did it for his sake . Maybe this is the wrong thing to do , this defiantly is the wrong thing to do , but what option was there for me to do the right thing from the wrong .
My leg hurts badly so does my head , Matthew must have some serious injury from me to feel it . I love you , please forgive me . tears finally found their way out of my eyes .
Matthew POV
I could feel it , there was no more annabella around , only stinky sweaty men holding me down. Alarmed I opened my eyes realising what was going on . He took annabella away !
I looked at the men pinning me , they looked exhausted . I took that as my attack queue , kicking them away and snarling at them did the job scaring them away .
Shifting back to human form I slowly walked toward Henry . " where is she . " I demanded my mates location . "
Henry smiled and pointed to the sky , " sorry brother I think she's with mother and father ." He spat the last part , and pouted .
" you mutt what do you want ! " I snapped , I've had enough of this piece of shit !
" eh , nothing specific , just for you to suffer then you'll finish yourself with your own hands , " Henry said coldly .
" you're a sick man . " I said walking past him .
He grabbed my arm making me turn to face him , "what ?" I gritted through my teeth .
" don't just ignore me while I'm talking to you . " he said glaring at me , tightening his grip .
" normally I would not it as it is rude , it's just that you mean nothing to me , and talking to worthless men will do my name bad OK ? you can let go now ." I yanked my hand away from him . He glared at my soul .
"Mark and the royal army are on their way , so you better flee ." I motioned for them to move . " goodbye brother . " I said glaring holes through Henry.
I limped away from that shit of a brother , my leg is killing me : some mutt had his teeth sinking in my leg .
These mutts coming here thinking I will let them have their way , they must be kidding me , I alpha king Mathew will not have this- Shi-
Suddenly a huge black wolf was on top of I grabbed the sides of his jaw before getting to my head . " Henry get off of me " I growled at him knowing how pointless calling him into his senses is useless, he was long gone with no way back .
With all my strength I punched him in his wide open jaw , he jumped back wincing in pain then shifted back to human , his jaw was bruised and bloody . He rubbed his jaw line while attempting to smirk , " why are you even fighting back , can't you see I already won , even your mate left with one of my men how naive thinking she'll keep you safe like that , and I wouldn't be shocked if her breathless cold body is thrown in some dump". He sneered while smirking at me .
What if he's not lying she broke the link I can't feel her there, let's finish this game now ." My wolf cried out . " lets go after her she's already sick we need to get to her ."
" not yet , the groups are half way here ." I debated in hopes of restraining my wolf from taking over and going after our mate .
" I WON , THIS MY HAPPY ENDING NOT YOURS , I'm THE WINNER HERE BUT WHO ARE YOU ? " Henry spat with all the hate in his heart .
I can't believe I ever called him a brother, he clearly wishes nothing but harm to me .
Loud growls came from the woods side and he turned to look at the noise confused .
That's my queue !
I jumped and shifted midair which gave him no time to react , in a blink his head head was between my jaw . " your king bitch."
I spat his head and looked at the new arrival of the special attack group that was taking care of Henry's followers .
why are these guys always late , they have one job for gods sake .
"Annabella ." My wolf yelled bringing me back to the fact some rouge snatched her away .
She'd be panicking now thinking that she did the right thing , why can't she just listen to me !
One of the warriors came to me and bowed, " alpha we closed the border ,captured the flees and waiting for orders. " I patted his shoulder," don't kill anyone who tries to resist . " I ordered, he bowed and was about to leave, " wait ."
"Yes alpha ? " he asked quizzically . "Was Anna- " I cleared my throat in hope not to sound desperate " was the Luna between the captured ?" I asked a tint of hope in my voice. The soldiers gave me a sympathetic look and shook his head "alpha won't you get your leg checked?" The soldier asked with worry , i shook my head and queued him to continue with his work .
Where the fuck are you ?
I shifted to my wolf form and started following her awfully faint scent that was cracking by the smell of sweat and blood .
I will find you , even if it's the last thing I'll do , I promise you my sweet Annabella .
