Guinevere, taehyung and yoongi are all friends from diapers. Cohen's and Kim's and Min's were already family friends and business partners from their forefathers generation and they decided to keep it as it is.

Chris and Wendy after years of their marriage for their convenience, decided to have a single child taehyung and Cohen's keep Guinevere as the single child too.

Everything was so good, Kim's were known around the country from more then 100 decades already. This is the heritage that Old kim (Chris father, kim warren) got it from his forefathers and then eventually Chris took control over it and made it more successful.

Chris and Wendy were the known and most powerful couple. They were always so much into each other. For Chris, power, status and money was so important to keep his hold over the family.

And Wendy focus most of the time was elite circles, beauty, Chris and his business as she always accompanied him everywhere, months of business trips, late night parties etc and not to mention their love and sex life were more important to them.

They both were not very attentive towards taehyung in short. Giving him everything he wants, 100 of people to take care of him, to loads of money, they provided taehyung everything and felt like this was it.

They always thought that they are the best parents already and continued with their lifestyle. So taehyung never got to sleep with his parents or to celebrate any moment, their warmth or love.

It's not like Wendy or Chris never loved him, they did loved him but never cared about him, being in this lavish and rich lifestyle from childhood, they were not the one to wear their hearts on sleeves in the first place.

They came from the mindset where little money can solve every problem and handle everything. They always felt they are doing enough and they are perfect parents. They both were madly in love with each other and ignored taehyung's feeling.

They used him to maintain their family's reputation, but never loved him genuinely or cared about him. They put up an act of being a loving family, but it was all fake. They have been trapped in this charade of pretending to love each other for so long that even they themselves had completely forgotten what true love and family feels like..

Taehyung by birth being trapped in such lifestyle never truly understand family bond, love and affection and his mindset became like his parents too and he was that cold, introverted kid but was way too talented from always.

Chris and Wendy were wrong to him as parents. When he was just teenager, his grandfather put all the responsibility on him and never let him breath and then later he has to handle chris mistake. He never got to live for himself.

Guinevere on the other hand was pampered to the moon and back by everybody. From her grandparents, parents, Chris and Wendy, yoongi and taehyung and other people's too.

Guinevere used to visit taehyung with her parents or vice versa from childhood. Eventually, she got to know yoongi too through taehyung. Taehyung though cold but still was best friends with Guinevere and yoongi.

From early age they all three were together in everything though Taehyung was close to yoongi and only opened up to him. These trio bond always seemed unbreakable. Taehyung the cold and intelligent one. Yoongi the play boy, flirty and savage one. And of course, your highness Guinevere who always wanted queen treatment from everybody.
