Captain Shoto POV

Winneka Isle, a paradise nestled amidst the vast expanse of the ocean, captivates the imagination with its enchanting allure.

It was a long, long, long journey to land in the Winneka Isle. We were greeted by Masaru Bakugo, the chief of the Winneka Isle, "Prince Shoto, or should say Captain Shoto, what brings you here in the Winneka Isle?". I reply, "I heard a rumour about a mermaid sighting here.".

Even though we are labelled as 'pirate' who are known for their audacious acts of maritime plunder, raiding ships and coastal settlements with cunning and ferocity. Well - people around the globe labelled I and my crew as a 'Good Pirates', contradicting what they are known for. We stand as champions of freedom, fiercely defending their crewmates and the oppressed against tyranny and injustice. But then again, I'm currently focusing on treasure hunting.

Chief Masaru looked shocked at my reply, "Rumour really spread fast as a wildfire. I'll tell you more about it at my office. For now, enjoy roaming the island with your crew. Elizaveth, guide and tour them as they visit the island.". A tall-blonde woman with piercing red-eyes, bow and remark, "Hello everyone. My name is Elizaveth and I promise you are going to enjoy your stay here in Winneka Isle. This is a beautiful, quiet town where you can relax, sit by the beach, enjoy great meals and feel very safe.".

"Let's have dinner later and discuss the sighting, Captain Shoto. I have meetings to attend to," Chief Masaru bow, and entered his carriage.

"Aye, dinner sounds nice. See you later Chief Masaru," I took off my hat, as a sign of respect to the Chief of this island. He smiled at my gesture and reply, "You're a good kid, Captain Shoto.". The carriage horse takeoff, and we were left alone with Elizaveth. She smiled and ask, "So, are y'all ready for the tour?". Eijiro placed his hand on Elizaveth shoulder and said, "Let's start the tour then, cutie.". Elizaveth giggle, "Let's go then!".

"It's not late to say that: Welcome to the enchanting Winneka Isle, where a vibrant town rises amidst the natural splendour. Where a diverse community of inhabitants thrives amidst the island's natural wonders. Here, you'll encounter a tapestry of cultures, each adding their unique flavour to the island's enchanting atmosphere. From the indigenous tribes who have called this place home for generations to the adventurous settlers who were drawn by its allure, Winneka Island is a melting pot of traditions, customs, and stories!" she excitedly uttered as we entered the town. "If you need an assistant, you know who to find," she added.

I motioned my crew to roam the town freely. Eijiro and I, were left with Elizaveth. "Elizaveth, right? Tell me about the rumour about a sighting of a mermaid," I dictated. "I only have little information about the rumour," she replied, I looked at her red-eyes and she looked away, "Well, a little boy was collecting seashells in the middle of the night, then he heard a what he described an alluring melody. As he followed the melody, he saw a figure... a man with a fishtail," she added.

"Do you think we're on the right track, Captain Shoto?" Eijiro asked. I nodded as a response and smirked, 'It may be a rumour, but those little information would be helpful.'.
