Me and Jacob were getting ready to go to the doctors appointment for our gender reveal. Jacob was so excited he was running back and forth. I was excited but acting normal, not running around like a druggy or something.
Jacob: come on maría you don't want us to be late. He said opening the bedroom door
María: shut the fuck up. I'm fucking pregnant I'm not as fast as I used to be. I said walking out the room

I sighed heading down stairs, Jacob followed right behind me making sure I didn't fall. Once I got down the stairs I walked out the front door heading to Jacobs car.
María: my belly is gonna get to big for your car. I said opening the door
Jacob: that's fine. We'll just take your care. He shrugged
I giggled getting into my seat, Jacob got in started the car before he turned to me kissing my forehead. I moved my hand on his as he pulled out. I laid my head on his shoulder while he drove.
María: did you finish editing the video. I said sitting up
Jacob: ya. I'll post it when we get back. He shrugged
María: mk I said kissing his cheek
He smiled turning to me kissing the back of my hand. I shook my head rubbing his arms.
María: what do you want the baby to be. I said rubbing his arms
Jacob: I want to baby to have two loving parents and a loved life. He said turning to me
María: Jacob I whined
Jacob: what that's what I want. He shrugged
María: what do you want the gender of the baby to be. I said sitting back
Jacob: I want a little man Jacob. He chuckled
I giggled laying my head on his shoulder again.
María: you know we have to move out of hype house right. I said sitting back up
Jacob: we'll talk about later. He said pulling into the parking lot
I nodded sitting up kissing his cheek before I sat back again. He parked then got out heading inside the hospital. We went to the front got paper work and waited for the doctor.
María: man I have short-term memory loss I swear. I shrugged
Jacob: why would you say that. He said moving my hair
María: I almost forgot my birthday. I said turning to him
Jacob: that's baby brain. He said sitting back
I rolled my eyes getting back to that papers. Not long after someone called us so we got up walking with the doctor. We got to a pretty big room with a bed and chairs.
María: Jacob help me on the bed. I said trying to crawl in
He picked me up laying me down, I sighed feeling tired.
María: oh I wanna nap already. I sighed
The doctor and Jacob laughed as the doctor looked at the paper work.
Jacob: are you excited. He said taking my hand
María: to nap yes vary much. I nodded
Jacob: no no no maría. I mean. To see what our baby is gonna be. He said leaning down to me
María: of course Jacob I said turnin to him
He smiled pecking my lips. He sat up rubbing the back of my hands. I moved my hand on his crotch before I spoke.
María: I need this once I give birth. I said using my other hand to point at him
Jacob: if your lucky He chuckled
María: seems like I've been lucky for the past. What year. I shrugged
He kissed my forehead before he walked behind me as the doctor brought a big ass machine. Nothing new I've seen it like ten times. He put that gel on then the toob and he looked around a little bit pressing a couple buttons.
Doc: do you guys wanna know the gender or you have a someone. He said turning to us
María: shit. We don't have anybody but I can call someone. I said taking my phone out
Doc: of course He nodded
I called Mia of course.
Mia: hello She said confused
María: hey soooo. We forgot to bring you. So you can know the gender of the baby. But I don't want the doctor to wait as you drive up here so I'll just pass the phone to the doctor and he'll tell you okay. I said before I sighed out of breath
Mia: fuck ya She said excited
I passed the phone to the doctor, he took it walking out, after a minute he came back passed me my phone and she wasn't on the phone. I put my phone away moving my hair.
María: can I see my child. I said trying to be kind
Doc: of course He said turning the lights off
He turned the thing to me and I saw it. Our child. I smiled. He pressed a buttons. It showed the heart beat and the sound of the heart beat.
María: can I also get pictures. I said rubbing my belly
Doc: of course you want to do that right now. He nodded
María: yes plz I said rubbing my belly
Doc: okay He said turning the lights on
He turned the TV thing off and we walked to the X-ray room. He opened a door letting me walk into a pretty big room. I laid down as he walked me through on what I needed to do and what not too. There was a lot of nots but what I needed to do was just hold still that's all. He let me into the box thing and I closed my eyes. Once I was all the way in I just took a nap right there. After a few minutes he let me out I got up and went to the room Jacob was in, Jacob kissed my head hugging me from behind.
María: where is the doctor I said rubbing his arms
Jacob: he's getting the pictures. He said kissing my head again
I smiled turning to him, he kissed my forehead rubbing my belly.
Doc: alright here is your baby. He said handing us pictures
I took them looking at them. I smiled seeing how big our baby is.
María: how big is our baby. I said turning the doctor
Doc: your 16 weeks so your baby is the size of a avocado. He said turning back to me
María: how that is small I said surprised
He nodded.

We left after the pictures and went back home. When we didn't get home Mia had a bag full of pink and blue things. I sighed already knowing she's getting the gender reveal party. I went to the room and put the picture on the wall, I laid in bed feeling tired taking my daily nap
