We got to the hospital and we both got out heading to a huge room for my small ass. Well this room might be small for Jacob but whatever.
Doc: alright maría can you plz lay on the bed and we will ask a couple question then get the real stuff done. She giggled. I crawled on the bed sitting down on the bed, I sighed moving my hand on my belly. She smiled kindly flashing a light in my eyes. I sighed knowing this was gonna be a while. But no. After checking my heart and palse she started.
Doc: alright I am no gonna feel your bare stomach if you don't mind. She said putting gloves on
I laid down lifting my shirt, she felt around pressing down pretty hard.
María: you know your pressing down pretty hard. Will that hurt the baby. I said trying to say it kindly
Doc: no. So how far are you. She said taking her gloves off
María: nine weeks I said sitting up
Doc: okay since you are nine weeks. Your baby is the size of a cherry. So I'll have to press down really hard to do any damage to your child. But also your only nine weeks so your not there yet but. When your at least 12 maybe 13 weeks maybe more your baby can feel whatever your feeling. So if I pinch you. Your baby will feel that. She shrugged
I stared at her trying to keep up on what she was saying because she was speaking so fastly.
María: what I shrugged
He smiled turning her back to me.
Doc: your baby will explain it to you once you hit those weeks. She said turning back to me
Just then a nurse came in with a big TV thing. The doctor took it wheeling it next to me. She set it up turned off the lights before she walked back to me. She grabbed a. Gel bottle? And put it on my stomach, she grabbed a toob laying it on my stomach. Her smile grew as she turned to toob left to right up and down. She finally turned it to us showing us our child. Jacob chuckled. The doctor pressed two buttons, which showed us the heart beat. Once I heard it that really hit the good spot.
María: you can't do that to me. I said laying back moving my hands to my eyes
Jacob and the doctor laughed, the doctor pressed one last button which sounded like a printer. I looked and she was printing the pictures, I covered my eyes again trying to fight back the tears that were falling down my cheeks.
Jacob: maría look He said trying to move my hands
I wiped my eyes before I looked again. And there it was again, I smiled before the doctor turned the lights on, she took the toob off my stomach cleaning the gel off me. I calmed down. Even though you could barley see anything. You could see the the body.
Doctor: and here is th pictures I'll give you guys a minute. She said taking her gloves off before walking off
She left and I didn't hold back the tears. I cried turning to Jacob.
Jacob: maría He said turning me to face him
I hugged him crying in his shirt. He kissed my head hugging me tight. After a while of crying we left. We went back home and he hung up the pictures next to the first picture, he kissed my head laying me into bed. We laid in bed cuddling. When Jacob fell asleep I cried some more.
