The Letter

Will brought me inside as Jordan said goodbye. Will told me to sit down on the couch.
He paused for a second and brought me into a bear hug.
"Hey where were you?" I didn't want to tell him about my secret spot so I kinda lied.
"Ummm, I was at the...umm gym?" I said as I was confused "yeah umm you know? Getting things off my mind" I said as Will gave me a nod.

I helped set the table and at the table was Mom, Jason, Me and I invited Ava over. For dinner, it was Taco Tuesday so we had tacos and for desert, we had brownies and homemade M&M cookies. It was silent until Mom spoke up.
"So...Meg, Jason... I have a surprise for you both" Mom said as Mom got up from the table and went to get something as Jason and I looked at each other confused. Mom went to to a picture frame that our whole family took including my dad.
I Miss Him. To me, he was the Best dad ever. Mom took out a letter from behind the frame and handed it to me and Jason. I opened it and read It out loud.

Dear My Wonderful Family,
I miss you guys so much! As you know I went to Canada, LA, Florida and Paris for my work. Well, I have a surprise! I will be coming home with you guys for a long time! Hope to see you guys later! Oh! And I will be coming home on Wednesday Morning! ~ With Love, Dad

As I read, I get filled with more excitement and so does Jason. I finish reading and Jason and I jump up from our chairs and scream.
"YAY!!! DAD IS COMING HOME!!!!!!!!!!" Jason and I scream for about 45 minutes.
"Omg! I'm so happy for you!" Ava says
"Congrats Princess!" Will says as I laugh because Will calls me so many different things.
I finish finish my taco and grab two cookies and head into my room.
