Phone Calls

When I got home I went straight to my room.
"Hey Meg-g?" Olivia says but I shut the door before she could've talked.
I decide to Skype Ava.
"Hey Gurl!" Ava says
"Hey" I sigh
"Aw What's wrong?"
"Well.." I say then pause to put headphones on.
"Well. Turns out Will got a new girlfriend" I say
"Oh ya? Who" she asks
"My cousin" I say
"Ohh" she says making the O face
"And your okay with this?"
"Ya! Totally" I lie
"Then why are you upset?" She asks
"I'm not upset... I'm just confused" I say
"Ok whatever you say!" She says as she hangs up.
I suddenly get a phone call from Will but I ignore it. Once the call ends I decide to call mom
"Hey Mom!" I say
"Hey sweetie. How's your trip?"
"Umm. Well" I say
"That's great. So when are you coming home? Everyone misses you!" Mom says
"I miss you too! And I'll come home soon! Bye I love you" I say then hang up.
I see a notification from the phone app so I click it and see a voice mail from Will. I click it.
Hey Meg! Umm its Will. So I know it's awkward for me dating your cousin since we broke up. But I just wanna tell you that it's awkward for me too. And that we are still the bestest friends! I hope..
I sigh then sit down at the chair. I open my laptop then see if anyone is on Cube.

I decide to edit and upload one of my pre-recorded videos. Then go under the covers to sleep.
The next day I try to be brave and talk to Olivia.
"Hey" she says nervously
"Hey" I say but not making eye-contact.
"So.. You and Will use to date?" She asks
"Yep" I say
"Look. I didn't want you to come down here and make things awkward. Here lets do some girl time. Okay?" She asks
"Sure" I say now making eye-contact. I pack all my essentials in my purse and then we drive to the mall.
