(Itachi's Pov/Two years Before)
Shisui dropped like a rock from the cliff the water below taking hold of him once he hit. I had to save him now so I floated towards him my bubble like shape colliding with his air bubbles. I felt my shape start to grow glowing brightly... it felt so good a sigh leaving my body as I formed into a human my arms reaching out for the man below me. He gave me life so I'll repay him with everything I have... grabbing his arms I pulled myself forward my lips pressing to his I blew air into him closing my eyes.
The water grew darker as I opened my eyes again covering his face I swam up to the surface as fast as I could. Breaching the surface I pulled him from the water hearing him gasp for air but his eyes remained closed his body limp against mine. The impact to the water must've knocked him unconscious so I'll have to pull him to shore without help, but I'll manage. I laid back in the water resting his body over my own I held him with one arm while I slowly started swimming backwards to the shore a few feet away. It was hard I'm not gonna lie but I was only happy I had saved him when I pushed him onto the rocky shore.
I leaned over him for a time but I knew someone would come looking so I leaned down kissing his forehead softly... "You still have a family to take care of... be safe now... I'll be watching over you Uchiha~" I whispered before I slipped back into the water and swam away under the surface.
(Present Time)
As promised I watched over the young man I saved that night two years before... I watched even now as he walked with his blond friend talking so seriously about something I didn't understand. His little brother looked more like their mother his soft features and still so innocent compared to his brother. I felt so sad watching Shisui bare a weight he couldn't bare alone. I noticed when he walked past an alley some men started following them and I could see weapons on them.
I gasped softly jumping down from my perch high up on an electric pole... I can't let them hurt him I have a promise to keep. I ran at them as one drew a sharp knife and raised their hand to harm Shisui.
"Stop it!" I yelled catching their attention I jumped up smashing the one I was targeting to the ground as Shisui turned his eyes wide as he looked to me.
