Y/N POV-

She loved you, but not in the way you wanted her too. This was a dangerous kind of love that you held for her. The kind that you weren't allowed to communicate with her about. The kind that hurts your soul every time you look at her. Every time you touch. Every time you breathe.

"Y/n! Are you listening?" Jenna snaps you out of your trance.

"I- yeah, I was," you nodded as you lied.

Jenna tilts her head in a look that can only be described as concerned.

"What did I say then?" She tests you.

You were hesitant before confessing your lie.

"What's going on with you lately?" Jenna says with a stern voice.

You wanted to tell her the reason. The urge grew closer with every second you spent with her and it was becoming a struggle everyday to hide these feelings.

"Nothing, just stress... I guess. Anyways, what were you saying before I zoned out?" Y/n asks, changing the subject.

"Percy and Georgie are coming over tonight and they're going to hang out with us, if that's okay?" Jenna blushes slightly.

You didn't like Percy. You had seen the rumors floating about on the internet and were worried for Jenna. You tried to warn her but every time you mentioned it she would become mad and turn against you.

You could see Jenna had feelings towards Percy. You didn't just see it, you heard it. Jenna would spend hours speaking about him and how wonderful he is towards her. Every time Jenna spoke highly of him, you were secretly wishing she would speak like this about you... but you knew that was only a childish fantasy.

"That's great!" You smile softly, suddenly feeling empty.

"I'm excited, I'll get to cuddle with him again!" Jenna raises her hand to cover her face that suddenly went red.

You didn't say anything, you just smiled and nodded.

Time Skip:

You watched as Jenna ran to the door in excitement. She looked like a puppy pouncing around as the doorbell rang. She yanked the door open, smiling brightly at the sight of the boys.

Georgie opened his arms for you. You walked towards him, hugging him.

"Hello!" Jenna embraced Percy's body, holding him tight.

You glanced over Georgie's shoulder, scanning the image of the two. You felt your jaw clench at the sight of it. She never greets you like that.

"You guys hungry? Y/n and I will make you something." Jenna states giddy.

Me?

"Well I am a bit hungry," Percy finds his hand gripping onto his stomach.

"Great! To the kitchen!" Jenna grabbed your arm, yanking you with her.

"Jenna... can't they make their own. Women don't have to cook boys' food anymore," you whisper before the two boys come around the corner.

"Y/n..." Jenna sighs.

"What?" You move to open the cupboards, searching for bread.

"Y/n, come on. You know how much I feel about Percy. I really want him... I've never felt this way for anyone before. You won't understand unless you've felt this," Jenna leans against the fridge next to you.

You couldn't look at her. You knew exactly what she was talking about.

"Who knows, you Georgie seem really cute together. I see the way he looks at you," Jenna whispers excitedly, gripping your shoulders and shaking you slightly.

"Yeah." You huff, opening the bread and grabbing the rest of the ingredients.

You both stood in silence, as you made sandwiches for the boys. They were sitting in your lounge room, picking out a movie to watch.

As you topped the sandwiches with the final layer of bread, you carried the plates to the boy, placing it in their hands as they scanned the food.

"Thanks Y/n, I bet it tastes good," Georgie smiles up at you.

You take a seat next to him, staring at the way Jenna sits close to Percy.

You felt an arm stretch behind you, a hand softly brushing against your shoulder.

Jenna turns to look at you, a smirk sitting upon her plump luscious lips. Something inside of you didn't feel right, you felt slightly uncomfortable.

Minutes turned into hours as you waited for the night to be over. The boy just didn't want to leave, becoming more and more comfortable with you and Jenna.

"I've got to grab something from up stairs," You mention, standing up quickly.

"I'll come!" Jenna trots behind you as you rush up the stairs.

You enter the room, huffing in exhaustion.

"You and Georgie are so cute! Please tell me you're going to hook up with him?" Jenna squeals excitedly.

But you're the one I want to kiss. Only you.

"I don't know," You smile softly.

"Well I'm going to hook up with Percy! I've made the decision and I'm not going back now," Jenna leans against the door frame.

You knew that this was it. You had to watch him live your dream with her.

"I'm happy for you," You grab your comfort water bottle and begin down the stairs, Jenna following behind.

As you reach the lounge room, you place yourself next to Georgie, sipping on your water. You turn your head slightly, realizing what was happening.

Jenna was leaning down, whispering something in Percy's ear. He grabbed her hand as she led him away, upstairs. There you were, smiling through your tears, watching her walk off with him, and not you. You saw the one you always loved, march towards the man she always wanted. Farewell...my love.

"They're gone upstairs now?" Georgie turned to you, chuckling softly.

"Yeah." You said, hidden pain behind your voice.

"That gives us some alone time," Georgie stated, moving closer to you.

You couldn't find words. You just hummed in response. George noticed your expression, relation washing over him.

"I'm not the one you want, am I?" He pulls away slightly.

You didn't move, but that was enough of an answer for him to come to his conclusion.

"She is."

You barely heard him, you were lost in your own head.

You thought back to her and how powerful loving some you can't have really was.

But in the end, you were the moon and she was the ocean, always drawn towards each other, yet you could never touch...

Just a little advice:

If you love them, tell them. You only live once, so don't be stuck worrying whether they love you back and just take the chance!!!!
