Y/n pov-

Today was going to be a long day. You were taking Jenna to an interview with Variety's latest interview with Elle Fanning.  It wasn't often that you would accompany Jenna to something so small such as an interview but the two of you had spent quite some time away from each other and you wanted to be in each other's presence for as much as you.

She was holding your hand tightly as you exited the car. You down at her, noticing an unpleasant expression.

"Are you doing alright?" You bump her slightly, causing her to drift back into reality.

"Yeah- I'm just nervous... You know me and interviews,'' Jenna eased the tension with her sarcastic humor.

It wasn't too long ago when Jenna confided in you about her struggles with anxiety. Now it seemed you were a master of picking up on her anxiety filled habits. These were things like, fiddling with her jewelry, bouncing her knee, talking faster or even chewing on her inner gums.

"It's okay to be nervous Jenna, you've done this heaps of times. You just got to talk with Elle. You're great with conversations-" You started before Jenna cut you off by laughing.

"-When I get to know the person, Y/n!" She explained.

"Jenna, look at me. It's only about forty minutes. It'll go quickly- and you like Elle Fanning, right?" You stood still now, looking down at her.

"That's the thing, forty minutes of talking to someone I've idolized my whole life. What if I say something stupid about her or her sister, Dakota?" Jenna was looking up at you, pleading for answers.

You could see now that Jenna's anxiety was becoming overwhelming for her as her breathing was becoming heavy. You had seen the start over her panic attacks and knew you had to stop it before it was too late...

"Stop stressing- look at me... take a deep breath okay?" You lifted her hand to rest on your chest.

Her gaze softened slightly, feeling more safe than before.

"Concentrate on the beats, okay? Breathe in sync with me," You took a deep breath in before exhaling again. Within the span of a few minutes, Jenna had calmed.

You both walk into the interview and Jenna was forced to separate from your side for make up.
You had somehow found your way to the only snack table in the entire building which was situated beside the interview stage. The table was displayed with a bowl of chips, sodas, a six pack of donuts, and a bowl of favorites. It was basically heaven...

As you feed your inner needs, Elle Fanning and Jenna were now walking out. You didn;t even have to check in with Jenna one last time, everyone was rushing them onto the chairs to begin the interview.

Soon enough the interview started and they were greeting each other. You took a seat near the cameras with a glazed donut soda can, attempting to be as quiet as possible.

As Jenna spoke about her childhood idols, Elle herself and her sister, you noticed her nerves had calmed down now. Jenna had found a flow to the conversation.

Elle Fanning was very welcoming toward Jenna and had a very easy approach. They spoke about fame and acting. You continued to drink your soda can as quietly as possible.

The interview continued with easy heart-lighted conversations, but soon moved to the topic of using their platforms for good use. Elle mentioned how she was afraid of making jokes and how it may not land well in the world of media.

This caused Jenna to continue on and speak about her own experiences. She mentioned her mother, Natalie Ortega, suggesting she use her platform to make a movement and talk about topics that must be raised awareness about.

"And the more- uh- I guess, I've been exposed to the world in a sense, people prey on that and take advantage of that and they see your vulnerability and twist it in a way that-" You could see the overwhelming emotion hit her as she spoke.

You place down your can immediately and watch her. You heard the crack in her voice as she choked on her own emotions...

"-twist it in a way that you don't always expect. So it's just like a, it's, so, so, strange." Jenna suddenly started apologizing as tears formed and streamed down her face.

You watched as her eyes scanned the room before landing on you. She was begging you to do something, anything. You knew how she must have been feeling being filmed crying in front of the world.

"Take two!" A man demanded, telling her to clean herself up. Thank god someone had done something to stop this.

Jenna immediately stood up and walked quickly trying to cover her tears. You stood up from your chair and opened your arms. Her small body embraced your own.

You wanted to take her pain, her sorrow and her grief. You held her tightly as her head sank into your chest, her small body, shivering under your touch.

You were so caught up trying to protect Jenna, you hadn't realized the camera was still rolling. The footage that they were getting, would soon be aired to the whole world. They were going to get their views.

"Jenna," you knelt down to her level. You placed your hands on her cheeks, rubbing across her jawline. She looked at you with red puffy eyes.

"You're okay. You don't have to finish this interview..." Jenna immediately shook her head, knowing she wanted to continue.

"Okay then... go show the cameras how strong you are. Let them know they aren't alone, that you have emotions too..." You suggested, knowing it was the only reason Jenna would want to show herself upset.

Jenna nodded before letting go of your hands and walking away from you. She walked right back into the interview, the camera followed her, as she sat down. Her eyes were still puffy and red but she had reclaimed her voice.

Jenna continued on with the interview until it finally came to a closing. As she walked off, she thanked Elle. The two were laughing together when they came off the platform. Jenna immediately came to you and gave you a quick hug, before introducing you to Elle Fanning.

"Listen, i'm going to get cleaned up before I have to do the next part of the interview," Jenna quickly stated before walking away, leaving you and Elle alone.

"Thank you, Elle." You said, smiling a little.

Elle looked at you in an expression of confusion.

"For being easy with Jenna. The way you handled it was really good..." You expressed your gratitude.

"I- that's okay. You're a good girlfriend, Y/n. I can tell she seems to really trust you, she seems safe when she's with you," Elle said softly.

The words made you smile, making your heartbeat just that little bit faster.

Jenna had supported you in everything you did and was always there for you when you needed her. Jenna was not just your girlfriend; she was your best friend. You knew it was time to give back to her, to support all of her work and needs.
As you waited for the next lot of interviews to end, you sat there thinking about Jenna, you felt a warmth wash over you, like a ray of sunshine on a cold, winter day. It was the feeling of knowing how much you loved Jenna and how grateful you were to have her in your life. The mere thought of her made your heart swell with love and affection.

As Jenna concluded the interviews, you felt lucky to have her in your life and knew that you would do anything to make her happy. The world seemed brighter and more beautiful with Jenna in it, and you knew that you would always cherish your love and all the memories you were creating together.

And so, you now walked out together, hand in hand, feeling the warmth of love and gratitude in your heart, knowing just how much you loved Mia. It was a feeling that you would always treasure and cherish, and one that you knew would forever be a part of you.
