Y/n POV-
The cast of The Fallout were checking into the hotel, where they would be staying during their time of filming. Both, you and Jenna, had developed a strong friendship recently.
The two of you stood slightly back, letting the other castmates settle the rooms. You didn't mind what room you got as long as it had a hot shower and a comfy bed.
"Wait, so you wrote a book!?" You asked in fascination. Each time Jenna revealed something about her life, it amazed you each time. There were so many layers about her, and you loved learning about them.
"Yeah, I wrote it to inspire my fans. I thought I should use my life to help others, you know?" Jenna explains.
"Yeah." You agreed.
You admired her connections with her fans. She was honestly the most perfect human you had ever met, inside and out. Jenna could say the dumbest things and you would still be in complete awe of her.
"Jenna and Y/n, we've booked the rooms. The hotel had one less room, so would you guys mind sharing one?" Shailene Woodley, expounds.
Jenna looks up at you, a smile crossing her face. She waits for you to respond as you smile back at her.
"Yeah, we'll take it. Cute little sleepover," Jenna giggles.
A sleepover? You hadn't had one since you were 16. They were fun days. Now it's just work and stress that eats at you every night.
After a very claustrophobic elevator ride, the cast part ways to discover their rooms that they will be staying in.
As you reach room 317, you swipe the key card, unlocking the door. You push open the door, allowing Jenna to take the lead inside.
She struts inside, glancing around like a lost puppy. Jenna turns towards you with eyes wide and a toothy grin. Your heart fluttered at the sight of her. You liked seeing her happy, but this thought scared you. You loved Jenna, but not like that. You couldn't possibly love her in a way you're supposed to love a man. You were straight.
You knew love was a quiet emotion that in time becomes part of the oxygen and you needed to breathe, and so though you may feel not sure that it's there, any form of removal and the emotions begin to choke.
"It's perfect. Look at it, Y/n! It's just so- pretty," Jenna opens her arms and spins.
"Yeah, it is." You say, not daring to take your eyes off her.
You both walk around, exploring the apartment rooms. You reach the bedroom, creaking the door open. You face scrunches in confusion as you realize that there must have been a mistake...
"Uhhh- Jenna?" You turn to face her as she trots towards you. She looks up at you, waiting for your question.
"There's only one bed."
You see her face drop slightly, as if a thought was hovering in her mind but she was ignoring it.
"Oh. I guess that's okay," She squeezes past to further examine the room.
"I can sleep on the couch if it will make you more comfortable. I would rather you take the bed," You confess.
Jenna tilts her head at you with a disappointed expression. "Y/n, that's very kind of you, but I'm sure we can share it. It would be like a good old-fashion sleepover," Jenna suggests. You agreed to her statement.
You moved to begin unpacking your suitcases. Jenna mimicked your actions and began unpacking and claiming her side of the closet.
After what seemed like hours of unpacking, you both were exhausted and collapsed onto the bed.
