Why must I wait,
Why must I stay,
For you do not hesitate,
To call me those names.

I have not let go,
Since you will not let me,
The way you turn things,
So that they will see,
You in the light,
Me in dark, you feeling glee.

I want to come back,
But I know better,
For if I let the cat out of the bag,
Your world will litter.

Our love was so true,
Burning in fire,
Washing in the sea so blue,
As our ship flew higher.

But soon did I notice,
The sails start to fall,
Our course start to miss,
Our ship no longer tall.

I waited and watched,
I told you to stand,
For our names are now washed,
Away with the sand.

Now I watch you try,
Try to push our ship back up,
It's too late to buy,
The time you have lost.

Am I wrong, am I right?
Should I have fought through our fight?
Should I have sticked by your right?
Rather than followed my light?

For now I am here,
While you are still there,
Stuck in a loop,
Of finding a new heir.

A person to put first,
One who you said were to be me,
But while you quenched your thirst,
You forgot to share your sea.

Now you complain,
Call me that name,
One you promised was friendly,
And not so deadly.

I waited and waited,
For you to come around,
But you never did,
So now you're just a sound..

A/N: If ya'll couldn't tell, that was about relationships changing, particularly mine and my old best friend's.

We didn't end well, least to say, but I'm okay, I'm okay..

I might do a part 2 for it.

I'll also comment what each poem means and tell ya'll the meanings from now on :)
