Huening kai was aloss for words, he had never failed like this before.

His gorgon bullshit usually worked on pathetic humans like Soobin, so why wasnt it working now? He could always hypnotize the weak brains of mankind and puppteer it however he wanted, but this time, it failed.

"Soobin-hyung, lets go do something" he repeated through gritted teeth. "mmm.. i dont really wanna.." he mumbled. Huening Kai glared at the back of the olders head. His mind was clear somewhere else when Huening needed it to be present here.

"fine, i guess you don't love me anymoree.." kai teased. He smirked at the now black hair who now had his eyes widend. "L-love..?" he whimperd. Obviously, love was a super strong word for him. Out of all the vocabulary, appreciate, like, or even adore, he chose love.

Soobin felt a lump in his throat, his longing for Yeonjun fanilly became real, rising up like bile in his stomach. All this time he had denied his feelings for Yeonjun, all the time he spent trying to rid the siren out of his head, he has wasted it thinking he didn't love him.

Huening Kai glare was burning holes into the back of Soobins head, he could feel it. Quite literally. A Gorgons gaze can turn a person into stone, or in other words, mummify them. But first, it burned them and once they were crisp enough, they froze humans into a statue. Some sadistic Gorgons loved keeping thier prey's statues in their lair, to remind anyone who dared walk in who's in charge.

Huening was one of them. He thirsted for blood, he loved seeing the pain and horrified looks on his victims face before they were soldified. Their face permanently carved into moans of terror, thier wide eyes and dialated pupils, it was all a great reminder of his power everytime he walked into his cave.

But he wasn't always like this. Infact, a couple years back if you had asked 16 year old Huening about his opinions on violence and bloodshed, he would probably faint.

3 years ago, 16 year old huening kai~

*BRINNNGGG!!* the school bell rang for dismissal. The teacher Mrs Irene shuffled a bunch of test papers together before speaking in a rather obnoxious voice, "Alrighty class, hand in your papers for me to grade. I don't care if you didnt finish, I need to grade today" she annouched, voice sounding snobby.

Huening Kai's eyes widend. He hadn't finished yet.

He was busy slacking off and daydreaming about Taehyun, the senior in which he had a small crush over. Okay fine, you can call it an obsession.

"fuckfuckfuckfuck!" he cursed to himself. Mrs Irene glanced over at Kai. "Huening, hand over test" she sniffled her nose in impatience. "okay.." he mumbled as he slouched over to her desk and threw the paper at her face. "why you little-" she started to scold him but he ran away before his eardrums bled out.

He ran outside panting when his phone got a notification.

kai blushed at the contact name.

kai: yeah?

Huening Kai held his phone to his heart and let out a little squeal. His back pressed against his cold locker as he gushed over Taehyuns text message.
