Soobin lay on the stone cold ground, hands bound together with bloody chains. The boy was close to lifeless, eyes no longer reflecting any signs of life. But there seemed to be a glimmer whenever Kai would mention Yeonjuns name, but the glimmer was quick and tiny, almost invisible if you didn't stare long enough. If you blinked, it'd dissapear.

"so, are you ready to speak, or should I do it again?" Huening smirked as he played around with the wooden paddle in his hands. Soobin kept still, eyes blank and showing zero emotion. This angerd the younger, the fact that Soobin didn't break whilst being beat multiple times with the paddles for hours, he stayed silent and still. He didn't let out a scream.

Oh how he craved the bloody screams of his victims, the shouts for salvation, the pleas for life. Of course, they were never granted with a second chance, but this time was different. There was something about thie boy, something that Kai felt could be useful. He didnt know much about Yeonjun, but Soobin did. Kai noticed that every slander he threw directed towards Yeonjun, Soobin seemed to take offense to it, like they were insulting his property.

"not speaking again, huh? well, i guess you know what shall come to you" he grinned evilly as he raised his paddle. Soobin screwed his eyes shut and prepared for the unbearable pain that was about to hit his body. *thwack* the wood hit his back with a loud smacking sound. Pain radiated throughout his body as he cringed from the pain.

"not enough hmm?" huening asked while raising chaind from the ceiling, having them latch onto the talker wrists and neck while making his feet dangle in the air. He choked as the air got knocked out of his lungs when the metal collar gripped his neck.

Kai smirked, finally able to get a reaction out of the older. "now scream." he orderd calmly. Soobins eyes widend in fear and astonishment, he was naked and hanging from the ceiling whole being ordered to scream. He felt disgusting, putrid and horrible. It hurt so much day by day, and everyday he prayed that something would come and seek him, take him out of his misery.

The cave had an opening to the sky, enchanted with a clear myst that was solid but gas all at the same time, but allowed him a view of the outside. On nights where the fog died down and the moon shone in its full, he would be able to catch a glimpse of the midnight skies, the violet canvas painted with sparkling white stars.

Yeonjun swam up to the surface, reminiscing the memories he had remaining of the younger male. He couldn't seem to sort of his feelings from the cloud of sorrow he had fogging his brain, the pain and anguish still stayed with him even throughout the training.

He knew the demon inside him was still buried deep beneath the surface, but he still tried to save himself from falling into lucid insanity.

Soobin ran to the beach. He just needed an escape from everything, from the city. Crown islands bustling streets, flourecent lights in the hospital room, and the pollited factory air felt suffocating and no longer had the ability to make him forget.

So he didn't.

He let his emotions take over his actions, everything eventually leading to the sea, the ocean. Of course his home as in Seoul, but he never really felt like he was at home. Home didn't even feel like home anymore.
