He awoke, cracks in the barn walls and roof shining light over him...

He'd fallen asleep. He hadn't wanted to leave Sven alone... and he didn't think it would look normal enough for the fiancé of a queen to be walking around with a reindeer at some other person's wedding.

The princess of Corona had a chameleon on her shoulder pretty much at all times... and the horse, seemed a little... odd? But...Why did he feel it would be different if it was him?

He guessed it was because logically he was an outsider, and it would be a bit less charming than a Princess of a kingdom walking around her palace grounds with her chameleon who presented her and her husband their rings, along with a horse, if Kristoff paraded around his Reindeer in a virtual stranger's yard.

Of course, people should like Sven. Kristoff, liked Sven... but he didn't want any questions. This place seemed more... deer, orientated. Probably zero reindeer in their population. Just, rabbits, deer, wolves, horses... chameleons??

He continued to think, that if he was just going to keep Sven in one place, he probably shouldn't have brought him. He could have left him back at Arendelle, with Olaf...?

But, thinking further from there, he knew he didn't have the heart to not have him near- look where he was now, all because the wedding reception and the pressure that came along with acting like he belonged there brought. He wanted Sven near enough by, though... even if it got him funny looks when he had Sven on the boat...

And that was with Arendellians...

Just taking Sven to the barn once they arrived had been a nightmare. People staring. People murmuring...

For a kingdom that had an abundance- numerous rumours about evil magics and demons they were really all too outraged at the more natural interests...

It probably wasn't outrage. They were intrigued, more likely. He just... felt even more uncomfortable here than he did at Arendelle.

His face tensed at his mouth, his cheeks slackened down, and his eyes widened.

Sven adjusted. He looked to Kristoff.

"What's wrong?" he did in Sven's voice.

Kristoff sighed, "Nothing, Sven."

"Are you sure?" he voiced Sven.

"Obviously," he said flatly. He huffed, "Just... laying in an unfamiliar barn, after leaving my fiancé alone all evening yesterday..." he murmured.

Sven nudged him at his shoulder with his head.

"Why don't you go see her now?" he voiced Sven.

"I guess that's the plan..." he replied. "I wonder if she's as alright with me walking off as she likes to portray..." he huffed.

Sven pushed the side of his face up against Kristoff's.

Kristoff smirked. He sighed, "Okay buddy," he pushed Sven away, and groaned as he stood himself up. He turned around, hands on his hips. "She's my fiancé... she'd tell me if she had a problem..."

Sven gave a nod.

Kristoff gave a nod back. He felt fear, for a moment longer, that he'd disrupted her... but then he just started thinking about her. About how he'd go find her, now... and his most recent memory of her- how she was talking so much yesterday, and he couldn't keep up with it, but... he loved it.

Then he frowned, realising he'd left her at a point where she clearly needed to talk through something. He frowned further, shaking his head, thinking about how what she was planning on doing was to, hijack a wedding reception to ask a princess about rumours. He stilled. "Sven, I'm a terrible fiancé," he murmured, looking the reindeer in the eyes.
