Murtasim was usually a natural early waker and didnt regularly make use of his alarm. For this reason, the buzz of an iphone bell next to his ear was particularly startling. He groaned and twisted in his bed with his eyes still shut and his hand came out to try find the source of the sleep-disturbing noise it. His hand grabbed at a cushion, then a fitted sheet , a headboard and then... hair?
'Ouch Murtasim.' Meerab? She sounded hurt?
The room was dark- the sun had barley risen yet- the curtain slightly illuminated but barley letting any light rays through.
Meerab sat up and got hold of his wrist and gently pulled his hand out of her long knotted hair. 'Murtasim, kya kar rahee hou?'
She picked up the phone, the glow shining on her face and the noise stopped and then she turned on the bedside lamp.
Thats when Murtasim looked out to the girl on the other side of his bed and he blinked. Meerab was next to him, sitting and turning her alarm off- He wasent dreaming.
Murtasim didnt hide his irritation at being woken up at his ungodly hour. 'Iss wakt ka alarm?' His voice still groggy and laced in sleepiness.
'Haan mainay lagaya.' Meerab replied, matter of factly.
Meerab was sat right next to him- just in reach. 'Kis kushi mei?' He questioned as his hand went out to her in the darkness, skimming the softness her stomach and then around her waist.
'Nahana hai mainay. Waapis khud kay karma mei jana hai, kisi key jhaagney sey pehle.'
'Kyun?' He whined, wishing fkr her to never leave the confines of his arm.
'Kya matlab kyun? 100 batey banainge loag agar mujhay yahan dekh liya.' Was he ignorant or oblivious as to the important of a rukhsati- they would gossip of her honour. Obviously such whispers would be redundant as she was married woman but she didn't want herself, or her relationship, to be the topic or such whispers.
'Tum mere nikkah mein ho. Yeh mera haq hai.' He whispered, as thought that was enough justification before the world, and he pulled her closer with his arm that was snaked around her.
'Malum hai, yeh gunah nahi hai.' She explained in her defence. She didnt regret it- she just shyed away from wispers of the haveli. She reached down to his bicep and pushed his off. 'I need to go now.'
'Yaar....' He murmred in a state of half sleep. 'Thori derr aur.'
'Yaar?' She scoffed. 'Jaan kaha gaya.' She just just beginning to enjoy his flirty side.
'Jaan....' Murtasim stretched, '....mujhay sonay nahi de rahee. Jaanay ke damkey dey rahee hi.' He snuggled his face into her side. He wasent taking her seriously, still half asleep.
She smiled at her sleepy husband- it was cute but wrong. 'Main nahi jaa rahee Murtasim. Tum ja rahee hou.'
Huh? This was his own room- why would he need to leave this bed? 'Matlab?'
'Mere paas saaf kapre nahi hai. Aap jouge mere kamre say kapre lene.' She explained simply.
'Wohi pehnlo, jis mein tum aaye the.' He said casually, not recalling that he had wiped himself clean with that cloth last night.
'Thats disgusting.' She mentally reminded herself to take her clothes and place them in her own washing basket. 'Abhi uto aur lay kar au.' She gazed down to see him, eyes closed and on the brink of dreaming again. Her instructing him had absoloutley no effcet. She needed to threaten him. 'Nahi tou mein fir nahin aungey.'
That wasen't going to stop him. Location made no difference to him. 'Main aajaunga.'
Meerab thought about the possibility of conducting this meeting in her own bedroom and her body heated up at the thought of him in her bedroom- she began recalling the grunts he had made in pleasure and the way he had made her cry out last night. The memory was short lived as she remembered who her neighbour is. 'Are you forgetting that your sisters bedroom is right next to mine?'
