Precap:

Its safe to say that that Saba was not surprised at the scene she had witnessed that morning, but at the same time she was. You see, she had anticipated such a romantic alliance the moment she set her eyes on them. And she co- incidentiallychose a perticularly femanine outfit for Meerab to wear after her shower and had told the housestaff to set up in the guest wing for them, to give them the opportunity to be alone. She also flirted with Murtasim, just enough, to make Meerab feel a sense of urgency in acting acording to her heart and not her mind.

But, Saba had not taken into account that fact the Meerab had a phobia of the dark.

It was Murtasims own affection, which had come to the surface, when he saw Meerab in an vulnerable state. After all she had called out to him, and what sort ofman would he have been to not accomodate to her every need and fan her till she was able to sleep. What a gentleman.

The closeness even caused him to confess that he didnt not appreictae Anas's advances towards her for the reasoning of jealousy. It was just his slip of the tounge, of objectifying her, that that caused the moment to cease and thats where we left off in last chapter.

You also may be wondering if Saba holds any greveniance against Meerab upon learning of her 'staking' her claim on the mahal i.e Murtasims business proposal with her father that prior evening. The answer is ... no. Because shes a femaninst and knows thats Nadias share belongs to Meerab and appreciates her father for what he really is.

Unfortunaltey, Rohail and her father do not hold the same opinion. They were in the midst of searching for a loophole for the mess they were in, but that it a matter we shall return to later.

Breakfast was rather uneventful and for that reason i shall not bore you with the specifics. Im sure you can imagine Meerab's state after her first substancial romanticencounter with Murtasim. The men had taken their feeling off of the breakfast table and no-one openly displayed any unpleasantness towards the other, depsite Murtasims actions the previous night. As soon as the breakfast table had been cleared, Murtasim had been called to reusme to their business dealings, as all parties involved wanted to come a swift resoloution before Murtaism planned to return home.

Of course, meerab was unaware of the previous nights dealings and as they say, ignroance is bliss. What a beautfil sunny it day it was to be informed that you had today inherited a mahal, a castle of sorts- with countless adjoining lands, and all that because of your craft boyfr- , erm he yet to be labelled- because of 1 Murtasim Khan. But alas, we are not there yet.

At some point during the evening, Murtasim attended to Ma Begum's call and hadexplained to her, the need to sleep over- and she reluctantly accepted this. After all, it was Meerab's mamus house. He was then about to dicuss the Anas proposal issue, but was cut off by Maa Begum and told that that issue could only be discussed face to face, so cut the phone off.

There had been no contact with Haya still.

But for now, the Mahal's gate has just opened for a uninvited guest.......

'Saba, woh sirf mere madat kay liye aaya tha.' Meerab tried to downplay the incident.

'Haan mujhay bhe nazar aaraha tha kaisey madat,' she giggled at the recollection of the scene she had waked into, 'inta qareeb tha! Kahin tumharay ankh mein aik eyelash tou naih gir giya tha? Shayad wohi nikaal raha hoga.' Saba teased. Her urdu had begun to express itself as she had become more confortable with Meerab. Sabahad been in an elated state throughout breakfast, tryjng to put together the puzzle of last previous nights happenings in the guest wing. But Meerab had not shared a even a hint. Regardless of the fact that Meerab wasn't a great liar, Saba had seen enough to be in awe of her own genius planning.
