Advice Column *Part 4* You're not Alone

REMINDER: You are not alone. Everyone is going through problems, but it's up to you to face them, but you don't have to do it alone. People care about you, people love you and people want you with them even when you think the opposite.

Here is what you are NOT:

You are NOT worthless// You are an amazing person that deserves to be loved and happy. Even when you're at your lowest, you are not worthless. Don't you dare ever think that because to someone else you are there world and you mean something to them.

You are NOT annoying// You are just an outspoken person, that's okay. You know why? Because the people that think you're annoying won't know what great things you will do in the future. You are yourself and that's the best you can be and that best you can be is something they should be jealous of.

You are NOT stupid// You are very smart, you just process things slower and that's okay. It's not bad, it means you think outside the box and you are more creative and careful with things. That's a great quality to have. If anyone calls you stupid just remember you aren't stupid, you're just better at thinking things through.

You are NOT a "loner"// You are a person that rather do things alone and that's okay, you still have people that care about you and love you. You just like your alone time and everyone needs that. So don't think you're a loner, just think about how you like your space and you still have people with you.

You are NOT a bother// You are not a bother, you just want to talk about your problems and seek help, that's perfectly okay. We all still love you and will listen to your problems, just remember that no one is going to think of you as a bother, they only want you to be okay. They will listen to matter how much it is, just don't think of yourself as a bother because you're helping yourself and that's the best thing.

You are NOT alone// You. Yes you. You're not alone. Everyone is going through something, some hide it well, some don't, but don't think for a second you are alone. You have someone with you, just open your mind and think. Think about who has been there for you through thick and thin, think about who has told you great things about and that shows, that you have someone. You always will have someone. You're not alone.

You are NOT a slut// Just because you are confident in yourself and willing to show more skin, does not mean that you are a slut. You are not a slut. You are a confident person that should show off their confidence because that's another trait that makes you beautiful. You can show more skin, don't be afraid too, because you are confident.

Here is what you ARE:

You ARE amazing// Doesn't matter what anyone says, you're an amazing person that anyone is lucky to have in their life. You can do amazing things that some people can't and you could probably teach them. In short, you're amazing. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

You ARE special// To your friends, relationship wise, family, teachers, students; you are special to them. They all love you and care about you even if it doesn't seem like it. They think you're special, so you should think so too. You're special in ways that you don't know about and that's going to stay a mystery because you only need to know you're special and believe it.

You ARE talented// In sports, singing, dancing, writing, anything. You are talented and you need to embrace that because so many people will look up to you and want to be like you. You're a role model for people and you might not even know it, but you are talented and not useless.

You ARE beautiful// You really are. In your own way, you are beautiful inside and out and one day no matter who it is, will fall in love with you and call you that. But also note that you don't need someone to tell you that because you should know that! I mean, look at you! In a mirror It doesn't matter, look at yourself and think "I'm beautiful no matter what anyone says" because once you know you're beautiful everyone will see your confidence glow.

You ARE loved// You really are loved. By people that don't know you. That know you. That knew you. No matter where you go in life, people will love you. Yes, some won't, but that's okay because someone does. That's all that matters, someone does love you and wants you to be happy. Just remember, you're loved by someone even one person should be enough to feel loved because that means your special to them.

You ARE worth it to someone// When people tell you, "You're worth it." you better keep them in your life because not many people will think you're worth it and will leave you, but keep those close to you that say that. You are worth it, even if you think you're a burden, you are not. You are worth all the tears, all the fights and all the arguments because to someone you're worth having in their life. That's a special thing.

You ARE smart// Don't think for a second you are not smart because you are. In some way, you know more than most people and learn faster. That's a excellent trait to have. You are smart and you don't have to wear glasses to prove it (cue laughter). Don't be ashamed of being smart either because being smart is something great.
